@sonic pewter if its just the text being cut off, you will want to also play with the text size for the alerts. this would be done in each alert type in the text settings

@ionic spoke If it was previously working fine, and now it is not, still sounds like an OBS caching issue, try getting the overlay url and entering it again, or try adding it to a new browser source to see if it works

It worked thank you! I need help with on more thing, I know this isnt stream elements related but im having another issue with obs. My facecam is not registering anymore. When i first started using OBS it picked up the device and worked properly, but now it has stopped. I deleted the video source and tried to make a new one and it isnt even showing that my camera is plugged in

Is your camera available in other apps like skype for example?

If not - try to reinstall drivers from Device Manager (Windows button + X => Device manager)

If camera is not visible in Device Manager -> maybe it is in "Unknown devices" section there

If even not there - try to unplug it and plug back

I did not see a refollow alert for the Chat Alert module. If you are referring to the alert widget for the overlay - I don't think you can disable it, as far as I've seen.

It relies totally on SE, but I think there is simple, to don't display spamming refollows. On event trigger - if username appears in "recent followers" - ignore it (so chatbot, overlay elements, loyalty points for followage will not be triggered). I know recent followers is not a complete list, but it is good start for it 😉

It all comes down as to what Twitch API sends and how the information is received on our end via that same API. Since I recently switched from SL, I can say they don't have that refollow alert, as they somehow track it. I'm sure its not setup the same way and thank you for the feedback.

Click on the layer/widget you want to duplicate and the click on the 2 blank pages with the red dot.

It will ask you then where you want to duplicate it to (This overlay or another). If another it will show you a list of all your current saved overlays.

The copy will happen over other overlays and it will even copy over the current saved position of the widget.

But do not that if you then change anything on the widget on one overlay, it will not copy over to the other automatically - this means you'll have to copy it every time.

@sly canopy If you go to the contests page of the dashboard, you can set all the settings there. Then, when you hit start (or create, what ever that button is), the bot will announce in chat the information, and people join via chat. There is an overlay widget you will miss out on, but it is not necessary for running the contest

@lament blade I am not 100% on this, but it could be that it isn't queueing to play on the broadcasters system. They have to have that same page open on their system so that it works properly (ground control is not 100% supported with this new system)

so it was possible that the bottom of it (where the text comes in) was not being captured by OBS. The default height is 600, and the overlay is 1080 high, so there are 400 pixels missed

I guess it doesn't really matter. It was just very hard to determine why it wasn't working.

you can see what themes you have in "My Overlays", but we can't see what overlay you are using specifically. Best thing to do is to make a very obvious change, click save, and see if OBS updates
