Windows Store (UWP) games currently require extra permissions to be able to capture. If OBS is installed in the default (C:\Program Files (x86)) directory, these will be applied automatically. If you installed OBS to a custom location, you will need to add the ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES security group to the obs-studio folder. Follow these steps:

• Close OBS if it is already open
• Right click on the obs-studio program folder, select properties, then click on the Security tab.
• Under the Groups or user names section, click on Edit...
• Click add, then type in ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES. Select Check Names and it should underline to show it was typed.
• Click OK, then Apply, then OK, and finally OK again.
• Restart OBS and attempt to capture the game again

every language have another words for "ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES"

The StreamElements Leaderboards Twitch Extension isnt loading, and when it does, it isnt presenting the correct time. I am in Central TZ (-6) but the extension keeps reverting to -5 and it shows my stream is an hour later then it actually is.

The only way right now is to set up chat lines (so that they don't over spam in an empty chat) or to space out the times. There are plans to make the timers more like what you want, but there are several other things on the list to get done first

I just got a new overlay, and in the edit portion there's a box for alerts. I'm not sure where to go to manage them? When you preview the overlay there's an alert that pops up, but I can't figure out where to go to edit them and such on the website.

My overlays tab, then click the larger pencil. This should open the Overlay Manager (make sure to be in chrome, other browsers tend to derp). Then click on the alert box widget (there will be a grey wire frame around it, and there will be AlertBox text inside it). From there, you can access the settings for each alert type

Twitch prime (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. Therefor if you have 2 seperate overlays with an alertbox in them, and you test an alert, BOTH will trigger

Hello, I just linked my twitch to stream labels and I have created an overlay for my stream. The only issue I'm having is that it shows that I have 0 followers on my twitch when I go into the streamelements dashboard. Will this update on it's own or is there anything I need to do?

The reason I ask is because I created a follower goal and a recent follower widget but neither are showing my most recent follower or amount of followers towards the goal

1. The dashboard will show anything after you signed up. IE, if you haven't gotten a follower since you signed up for StreamElements, that number will be zero.
2. Recent followers will show the recent list of people that we have been notified that they followed you (see above).
3. (see above two remarks)

To see your total followers count, use the total followers widget. If that is also showing zero, go to Data, totals, and then refresh. That will force a pull from the twitch api to get the right numbers

That is something that was a known issue. I am not sure, but it may have been the way that twitch was reporting it to us. Don't take my word on that part though

So on the extension for Twitch, I have the countdown set up. The problem is it's a day ahead of what I'm selecting. I have Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday checked, but it's pushing everything over a day, so my times are listed on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

@spiral vault The best thing to do is do the resize in OBS. I doubt you stream/encode at 1440p, as most stream at 720-1080. So add the browser source to your OBS, set width to 1920, height to 1080, then hit CTRL+F to make it scale to your canvas

Hey everyone, I've got a problem and hope that someone can help me with it. I have become a Twitch Affiliate two days ago and have gotten a few subscribers already. Streamelements is not showing them though. I have logged out and back in multiple times. After the first time, in my Activity feed and in the Dashboard the Subscribers option was shown which wasn't before, so Streamelements did manage to understand that I am an Affiliate now. But the subscribers count is still at 0 and no subscribing activity is shown in my activities. I've had contact with the streamelements support yesterday and they said it should be a matter of time and it should be working within a few hours. But today it's still not working. What should I do?

Again, everything seems to be set up properly now. It's unfortunately common for new affiliates to have this happen because of the Twitch API needing to have previously unavailable data requested by 3rd parties.

And then when you add on the fact that they require subs to be shared it complicates it further /shrug

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Well, first the name has to be registered on twitch as is the requirement for any account that posts in twitch chat. Actually renaming the streamelements account is not possible as there are thousands of users who simultaneously use that account as their bot.

The requirements are in place because it costs money to provide this feature and we don't charge for it so we restrict the custom bot name to streamers who use all StreamElements services
