I have no experience with the elgato, but as far as I am aware, they have audio software that goes with their capture devices. Depending on what broadcasting software you are using, you should be able to add the capture device as an audio source as well.

Quick Hardware tip: if your mic is giving out static, the issue may be hardware, so you may need to try a different audio port for example.

With ankhbot, I believe the files are stored as an SQL database. You would need to open that database file in like SLQLite, then export as a CSV file

You can setup a timer to periodically shout them out if they are big supports of yours

So usually overlays are saved at that resolution. If your native resolution is actually lower than 1080p, then thats why they may be bigger.
You can resave the overlay at a lower resolution if that helps them looks smaller. Depends on your current setting really.

If you've added the widget, I suggest reloading overlays from the dashboard or GC.
And maybe double check you've added the right overlay to OBS. People tend to get confused when there are 5-6 overlays from super themes

What's a good way to filter if someone talks about age in chat they get kicked/banned from your channel? I know the twitch ToS says no one under 13 is supposed to be using twitch at all. Yesterday I had some kid wanting to chat on discord then he said he was 9 and by the time I saw his messages he left the channel.

Idk if someoen at SE saw this but the current countdown on the new extensions IS AWESOME but does not include a 24hr clock so a 3:00pmET start time is not possible. The clock only goes from midnight to 10am. Please tag me if you address this issue! It is not impossible that it is user error

so a streamer i mod for has been having an issue for a week or two now. we have media request on but some songs keep getting skipped, seemingly out of nowhere. there doesn't seem to be a pattern. he doesn't use ground control, nor does he have media request open in more than one instance. i got a little help with this before. there was a fix by disabling the option to skip the backup playlist mid-song, even though there wasn't a backup playlist set. that seemed to fix the issue for a while, but then it started back up again the last few days. i thought maybe adding a backup playlist would help, but that doesn't seem to be the case

I'm using the bit cup widget. I've combed through all the variable options in the widget itself, so I'm not sure what's causing the issue. The problem is that the stuff in the cup resets after each action, ie I someone donates 1000 bits, they fall into the cup, someone follows and it resets what was in the cup prior.
Also wondering if you guys offer a channel "Top Bit Donators" widget that is pastable in the channel banner overlay similar to the StreamLabs one.
or even a Top Donators widget, again in the same layout?

Display Capture takes a lot more processing power than just capturing a Game or Window
Depending on what you're trying to capture, and what software you're using, you might be able to get away with setting Window Capture to catch any fullscreen application

cpu can give you better image quality for less bandwidth, if your cpu can handle it.

@weak knot From what I've tested personally, you will have to edit the timer in the overlay editor and save the overlay. I also think by reloading the overlays the timer resets, but haven't tested that.

Ok, so it seems you will have to reset the goal manually from the Session page
this places all accumulated numbers to 0
or manually edit them to 0, if you want to keep the monthly sub goal for example.

We don't track goals at the current moment(me and my streamer as I'm the main tech mod for her)
so it doesn't hinder us, but like I'm saying - you can manually edit the Follower Goal Progress from 2000 number to 0 and dont touch the other goal progress

So far, if you set the item to be a Sound Effect, you need to upload the sound effect as well, as its a required part and I get go to step 3

if you have your own overlays you can upload them to the same overlay where that widget is and then just load that browser sources instead of having them locally, but up to you, local is faster but if you have them on site you no longer have to worry about losing it

Twitch doesn't have a "notification system" for hosts (unlike follows, subs, raids, etc.) so the only way for StreamElements to know that you are being hosted is to connect through you to twitch. This connection is made on:

Please have one of these open during your stream in order to receive host event notifications.

You can queue up a song using the media request in GC and when you go live, just play the song. I'm not sure there is something that can play automatically upon going live and switching to the starting soon scene

You can create a scene for starting up that has the media you want to play
and there are settings to make it autoplay upon visibile, along with only playing once

no, but there is a good reason for the host
While a raid brings along people in chat, there are those that do stay behind in the casters channel
That is why you get two. The raid brings x people into your chat and onto your chnanel page, while the remaining are hosted on the original casters channel and chat
