@placid cove well, we aren't Streamlabs and we can't really assist with their products. If you're trying to use a custom name with our bot do the following:

• StreamElements bot modded and in chat
• Active overlay with alerts
• StreamElements tipping page in the panels below the stream (!panels)
• Create a twitch account for the name you want to use
• Ground Control app must be running

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

is not actually displaying the latest sub

2 more people have subbed since the one that is currently displaying

one of them as a gift and the other one was done by the viewer

Twitch prime (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. What exact stutter lag?

In general there are a couple of fixes to a stuttering stream and a quick google search will most def. show you a couple of them, as it mostly depends on your setup really. These days PCs can be really different from one another.

Check your CPU usage, downscale maybe the stream if your 1080p streaming, lower game graphics a bit, change encoder in OBS, up the bitrate by 500 maybe, or lower it.

Bitrate should be around 1500-2000. That is just the speed it's transferred to twitch

As for the rest, it helps to know details or your current PC @blissful apex

Stuttering normally means that you are capping the resources of the encoder (since most people have the internet connection to upload). But always speed test your connection. Compare your upload speed to your bitrate

Your last vod that is 18 seconds, the lobby looked good. What I suggest is maybe restart your PC real quick, as I've noticed a lot of people these days, don't shutdown their PC and leave them to sleep/hibernate or just plain on all the time. That causes build up over time on the CPU cache, regardless of what gen the CPU is

well i used to use streamlabs and so i have been trying to transition to SE the only thing that i have noticed that has not worked i guess is my donos.. I had a dono on my last stream and i didnt see it until today when i was checking through my settings and what not and so not only did i not say thanks to my viewer but i dont know where his dono went... it is showing it in streamlabs but no signs of it in SE or my paypal so im not to sure what has happened. Also no sign of a chargeback implemented either. I just want things set up properly so i can give thanks to my supporters

when i transfered it to your bot it no longer works, it just shows the command code i input

i spoke to someone he said he wasnt sure if it is resovalbe or if there is a way to make a queue on your bot for viewer games

It is the way that OBS caches the overlays

when you mark them to Shutdown, they are unloaded from the cache. When you switch, they have to be re-loaded

thus the time for them to appear

@mystic phoenix If that does not work, then the last thing I could suggest after saving the unticked alerts is to log out and log back into SE and try saving the unticked state of the widget.

If that does not help, I'm not informed enough and maybe a SE Champ/Staff will help more, but IMO, your missing out on having all alerts notifications and bot and all the good stuff from SE and will prob. have confusion with having 2 separate services tracking notifications.

Can anybody tell me why OBS now uses 100% cpu? I added some overlays from your site, and they use Crazy system resources. HP omen gaming laptop, used only to stream. i7 7700hq 8gb ram 1050 GPU. I had to delete everything i did to get OBS to stop crashing

The animated overlays are intensive but make sure you have shutdown source when not visiable checked so you are only running one at a time

Nope, just OBS. The game volume is coming through fine. But if I uncheck show on screen in SE Media settings it mutes the song. Once I check it again, it displays the video and plays

Enable the songrequest command, request a test song in chat, it says the song has been added. Once I check the queue nothing is there and the song never plays.

• Create a twitch account for the name you want to use
• Ground Control app must be running

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)
