So when i do an "emulate cheer event" even though i only have the tokens that look like bits selected and have clicked delet on the other ones, it previews as dropping a bunch of other tokens into the cup, like pepes and other emojis like that (which were not even there to deselect in the first place??)

Similarly, when i do an "emulate cheer event" even though i don't have it checkmarked for triggering an emotesplosion, it triggers a small emotesplosion with random emotes. (The reason i have it uncheck is ALSO that when i did have it checked, it would drop random emotes with random animations, instead of the emotes and bubble animation i chose.)

I don't have either of these issues with any other events

The cup variations arent there, but they are pulled directly from twitch

when you emulate an event, we sent random cheers, and cheer amount, so you'll see random bits falling, and possibly different amount

if i did cheer1 cheer1 cheer1, that would fall 3 bits

but if i do cheer3, its only 1 bit

the emulator does this randomly

as for the that you see drop into the cup is StreamLabs has an Cheermote, and we replace it with for memes.

Regarding Kappagen, try deleting the widget and readding it, and remaking your settings

Example: most of my streams are Audiosurf 2 which allows any YouTube video to be played in the game so I want to use the list to track YouTube videos but since the game handles the playing, it's annoying to have to pause every time I skip to the next song.

The issue with that though is if I let them run, it could end up running through the next song and I end up missing a request cause it's already ran off the list because playing in the game adds extra time to the song. Copying the link, loading it in, some need processing that can take minutes, then actually playing so by time I finish the song it could have already finished the next request in the list

Twitch doesn't have a "notification system" for hosts (unlike follows, subs, raids, etc.) so the only way for StreamElements to know that you are being hosted is to connect through you to twitch. This connection is made on:

   Please have one of these open during your stream in order to receive host event notifications.

   When I paste a youtube url in the "You don't have any Media to share" field, I changes to another song in the backup playlist, but doesn't add the pasted url in the queue nor plays it.

SideNote: I've also notice when a song ends, it briefly starts another and then changes again.

My Setup:
I have GC running on streaming/gaming PC with the media part muted
I have Media Request page up on separate computer which I bring the music in via a mixer to the above PC.

Hello, I imported the loyalty points from ankbot to streamelements but now when I check in the chat using the command! Points the bot only recognizes the points of the nicknames that start with a lowercase letter, and the ones that start with a capital letter say that they have 0 points. In the leaderboard I check that all the points were imported correctly, the problem is only the command inside the chat.

@snow whale We will be adding the sub bonus to the public page but I don't think the cheer bonus will be posted. Twitch is picky about any sort of "reward" given in return for cheers.

hello, the past few weeks host and raid notifications have not been showing up, and if they do (inconsistent at best) the sound effect does not play. Testing they work but in a live stream they do not. Any advice?

Ok, so StreamElements isn't being notified when you get hosted. The way that we receive hosts is by the streamer having one of those open.

Because there is code on those pages and in the app that listens for hosts on the channel.

There is no way for us to be notified of hosts without one of those three. It may be that you have one open on occasion when a host occurs. Also note that raids do not require this as Twitch sends it to 3rd parties like all other events. Hosts are the oddball for some reason that only Twitch can explain.

@clever mango Thanks for the resources, I ran into another problem. On the static version of that super theme theres no alertbox. The animated version has neat animated alert. Is there a way I could use the same alert box for multiple scenes/Overlays?

To duplicate a layer on an overlay select the layer that you want to duplicate in the layers drawer (bottom left of the editor) and then select the duplicate button with the red asterisk right above the layers panel. You can duplicate a layer to the same overlay or to other overlays.

You can enable media requests only through tips in the media request settings

Also, the button to show on stream will eventually have a keybinding in the new desktop application that is being written so it will be easier to show/hide on stream.

Why does it want me to approve redemptions in the stream store how do I set it up where I dont have to approve them.

The approvals are set up because the stream store is expected that you have to do something to complete what was redeemed. This is how you keep track. It still takes the points and pops an alert when someone redeems, you don't have to approve for that to happen. The only one not set up to be auto-approved is the sound effect

For the emotes you will need to gift the bot account a sub, unless you are a partner, then you can get the sub for the bot account for free. As for the bots color, I think if you login with the bot account, and go to your chat, click the settings and choose edit appearance to change the color

Paypal actually doesn't really like it when a provider does that. What SL is doing is just upping the actual tip amount to make it look like they are covering the cost. Anyone can use the paypal fee calculator and change the amount to cover the cost. We just don't want to have paypal not like us

If you find that you often switch overlays while the widget is active then I recommend making an overlay just for the media request widget and not shutting down the source in OBS. You can add it to multiple scenes and it will remain when changing
