HI all, I reported an issue with !points (!rations for my channel) working in channel and the only way to re-start is it is to stop start the actual command.(it is the only command that it happens too).
it is currently happening again and im not due to stream for 12 hours so if somebody wants to trouble shoot Im not re-setting it for a while

Hi , i have an issue with the loyalty system, points have been imported from ankhbot/streamlabs yet it startet new with everyone viewer, furthermore when i try to add points to add the points over to the one SE is adding to that works fine but then i want to remove the imported one so its no longer in the leaderboards but when i reset it, it goes and resets the active one instead of the imported one and if i reset both and then refresh the imported name has its points back (im super mod with full bot/dashboard access)

The email I get from SE tells me how many unique chatters I had etc. But when I go to my stream summary from twitch their numbers are much less.
After today’s stream, SE said I had 102 unique chatters. According to twitch I had 52.

Twitch doesn't have a "notification system" for hosts (unlike follows, subs, raids, etc.) so the only way for StreamElements to know that you are being hosted is to connect through you to twitch. This connection is made on:

make sure obs studio is updated and like Kiwa said, that the overlay is loaded properly on OBS and that it's not hidden either
you can test this easy having obs + editor open and hit the follower alert simulation on editor

no, CPU encoding is better due to twitch bitrate limits
depends also on the game, but that should be good enough, not sure for 1080p though
default on OBS is cpu encoding, just change resolution and bitrate to what you like and leave the rest at default, then see how it looks after streams, enable saving of streams before starting too

Hi guys. Today, 3 donations during my stream i couldn’t locate the songs they requested. Resulting a kind of bad look on my part and i offered to refund the money but they said don’t wrrry. I feel bad about it. The site has changed. Updated. I can’t get the songs to play? The default song is a video of a stream element demo video of 14 minutes i cannot get rid of.

In your case this should probably be off unless you have a moderator who can approve/deny
I've disabled it now so that all incoming requests go automatically into your queue

@polar dune here is the thing. 120 is awesome for playing the game. For watching a stream, 60FPS is going to take a higher bitrate, and if you don't get transcoding, that will be very tough on your viewers. I can't watch higher than 360-480 most days

30-60 is up to you. I hink I do 48, as there is little noticable difference between 48 and 60

Hi, I have two problems with my alert box. I can't change the image on a cheer alert. It always uses the default triangle no matter what I change it to. Also, I have a number of sound files I imported from streamlabs but when I select soundfiles they flash on the screen for a moment but then disappear and I cannot click on them. Could anyone help me?

@dense hound im not sure on the second one, but the first one, check variations tab. The cheer alerts have default variations, so if you don't change/delete those, you will still have them

ah so to show them, you need to add widgets. once in your overlay editor you will see widgets at the top left, from there you can add an alertbox for all of those alerts as well as text for recent follow/ sub/ tip etc

The only way to accomplish this would be to use the ${random.pick} variable with the full response as each option. The trouble with this is the character limit. Technically you're not sending more than the character limit but the field only accepts up to 400 characters so you might only have 3-4 streamers to pick from.

it'll start me at song 1 instead of song 13

This is the case if you leave the page because we are not playing directly from the embedded youtube playlist anymore but importing the songs from it into the queue. Doing it this way allows us to show backup playlist songs in the current playing widget now.
