@naive basalt we have a sub train widget but no widget like that. you could create a count command in chat and use it everytime you recieve a sub so say if it's used 5 times you can do 5 * x amount of time added to your stream

Someone please help. In the overlay editor, my all of my alerts work fine. Yet, my cheer ones won’t work. I save, I look back st the settings and it’s all fixed up. Green font, my gif, the sound, yet when I test it it’s the default. And with subs, everything saved and it works yet the gif is a shark instead of the one I have selected. How can I fix this

@Tex-Rec#9094 Our import tool is an extension for Chrome, so you would have to use it to import. OR give me access to your StreamLabs account, and i will do it for you.
And no you can't integrate StreamLabs with our overlays.

@oblique isle doesnt have to be a constant use of Chrome. You may run into issues as our site is optimized for Chrome, but 99% of the site should work on other browsers.

I really like streamelements. You guys are like iphone and streamlabs is like android. They seem to come out with stuff first but when you guys come out with it it's better than theirs. That's why I'm planning on sticking with streamelements.

Twitch doesn't have a "notification system" for hosts (unlike follows, subs, raids, etc.) so the only way for StreamElements to know that you are being hosted is to connect through you to twitch. This connection is made on:

2. SE Activity Feed page - https://streamelements.com/dashboard/activity
3. Ground Control desktop app - https://streamelements.com/groundcontrol
   Please have one of these open during your stream in order to receive host event notifications.

It's a much more robust system rebuilt from the ground up and the new ground control will support it along with other new functionality.

@smoky tide If not shut down, sounds will play from any active overlay visible or not. We've got a possible solution which might make it so overlays don't need to be shutdown but it's far from ready

We always recommend shutting down browser sources when they're not being used because it uses unnecessary CPU in the background and will keep alertboxes active

Yes, what you have to do is remove alertboxes from all your other overlays. (keep in mind this may put more stress on your machine) Create an entirely new overlay in our system for just your alertbox. So now you will have 2 browser sources in your scene. Check shutdown source when not visible on all the alertboxes but not the other overlays. This way just the alerts reload, and not the entire overlay so it doesn't seem like there is any lag

because of this I would limit what overlays you always keep on, because they can rack up cpu usage (nature of browser sources)

@nocturne moth You can expand the window horizontally to see the full window in Ground Control.

We released the New Media Share system with only partial support for the current Ground Control application because it's being deprecated in favor of A new program already in development and will have full support for the new system.

It's a much more robust system rebuilt from the ground up and the new ground control will support it along with other new functionality.(edited)
Right now we're recommending the website media request page for the best experience and will have the new ground control out to everyone as soon as possible(edited)
Early next week we'll be pushing another update to the media share system which will fix some bugs that have been discovered in the launch and add additional functionality

hey guys we've come across something in the new media request update. I mod a channel and the viewers can no longer see the contents of the songqeue without signing in to streamelements. Is this intended? and if so, can we turn it off?

we're also having trouble with the music only filter. Viewers are clearly requesting 'music' category youtube links but the filter still wont let them through

Yeah we're aware about the keybíndings, we partly released the new media requests features on GC but fully released it on the site, the GC side of the feature still needs work

That could be a local issue, if you close it down, go to your %appdata% and find the Ground Control folder then delete it, then open GC back up that should reset that

4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)
