What I do is I make my ticket cost at a minimum which only a follower can pay with loyalty points. Let's say on follow someone gets 100 points. All my giveaways never costs less than 100 to prevent someone not following or giveaway hunters winning @dense beacon

So the way our timers work, is (for example your first command) it would wait 20 minutes while u stream then check if 7 chat lines have passed

if they haven't it won't post

so it's possible for say 12 chat lines to pass in 40 min

6 in each section and the timer doesnt go off

making it seem like it isnt working

6k is over kill for sure, but your resolution is an important factor as well, so downsampling to no more than 720p 60fps would be ideal, and 4k would be more than enough

Bitrate has nothing to do with your setup though, if you have good internet you should be fine with 4k

I have a Question about the Chat module, everything on there works EXCEPT the host, the raid responds, the cheer, the tip, subs, but if someone hosts it doesnt do a chat message. Any ideas?

Twitch doesn't have a "notification system" for hosts (unlike follows, subs, raids, etc.) so the only way for StreamElements to know that you are being hosted is to connect through you to twitch. This connection is made on:

1. SE Dashboard page - https://streamelements.com/dashboard
2. SE Activity Feed page - https://streamelements.com/dashboard/activity
3. Ground Control desktop app - https://streamelements.com/groundcontrol
   Please have one of these open during your stream in order to receive host event notifications.

@lament blade As long as you put the right resolution it should work fine, you can use the event emulator in the bottom left (blue circle icon in the overlay manager) to test events

So I'm still getting this issue. Bot will only announce one command in twitch chat if two people follow the channel at once, completely disregarding the 2nd follower. This is a problem as I need to be able to thank everyone. Please let me know how this can be fixed

No. It's new followers. It happens multiple times. There have been many instances where two people hit the follow button at once, the bot only recognizes the one who hit the follow button first

I don't believe so, since hosts are always triggered by a raid so both of them will show but it also depends on the minimum amount for the hosts

Only if you raised the minimum number for hosts, but then if someone only hosts and doesn't raid, it wouldn't show up at all

So, I downloaded Ground Control for more stream management stuff/so that I could change my chat bot's name, and even after having the bot part and rejoin the channel, and restarting Ground Control, I'm still not getting the Bot Name option in Ground Control

• StreamElements bot modded and in chat
• Active overlay with alerts
• StreamElements tipping page in the panels below the stream (!panels)
• Create a twitch account for the name you want to use
• Ground Control app must be running

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

In my recent stream, the activity feed was unable to fully capture the hosts I received, with no pure host alerts appearing. However, whenever raids (with viewers) occur, the raid alert appears, along with a strange host alert from the same raiding streamer with 0 viewers thereafter. What could be the problem?

I created a sound effect people can purchase during stream and though people were purchasing it, there was no sound automatically playing. Is there something in the overlay I need to turn on? @lament blade When do you see the images appearing as sounds? There is no way to color correct an image in your overlay through StreamElements, it is more for compositing existing elements into your overlay.

Duplicate Kappagen into the other overlays

by selecting the Kappagen in the Overlay you edited everything and clicking on the little "duplicate" button with a red dot on it

I have an Overlay that supposedly was created only to work with StreamLabs, I keep getting a broken image icon when I try to run it on StreamElements. Has anyone gone through this before?

Webm are allowed, if you are only having this problem with the subscriber alert, make sure you changed the variations as well @lament blade

Theres a Data tab at the top which you can alter the amount of subs it shows as progress

to hide the date, change the size of the widget so the bottom part doesnt show

I got a question about the song request. Last time I saw it would not request songs when typing the command and just the name of the song (!sr Bring me to life) or (!sr Bring me to life Nightcore).
