I had a re sub today and the alert never went off. I think twitch might be having issues though because the chat dialogue never said it and stream elements or stream labs did not pick it up either

With our system is picks up when the user shares their sub, so if the share message never appeared in the chat then we never found out about it, sounds about right

The other day I had issues with my alerts and changing sounds which caused sounds to double up. I am not happy with the scene transitions at the moment and need to find a better solution.
Each scenes overlay source must have the shutdown source when not visable setting enabled to avoid the double up.
I have tried,
- 5 sec scene delay with fade transition: It's not smooth and often snaps into place, looks unprofessional.
- Studio mode in OBS: Pre loading the next scene but if an alert goes off while I have that active (before the switch) i'll get double sound. it's also quite annoying have to pre load then transition.
@tight harness & @lament blade I know I have spoken to you about this but I am curious to hear more opinions/work arounds.

@dusky cedar as far as I know, the only thing you are not allowed to give something for is Cheers. Subscriptions are good. I would recommend reading the documentation that you signed to become an affiliate/partner to verify this, as that is what twitch holds you to.
@fierce sun The only other thing I could suggest would be to make a second overlay with your alerts, and remove it from all your other overlays. That way your alerts only will be in one source, and won't sound twice

Is there a way to run test notifications without being in the overlay editor? Having that open as well as OBS makes it lag 100% of the time. I could see if I spike, if I can test in a different way

Here's the results of my test (in an environment I'd typically stream in). When I did the test sub (the first notification since load, with alertbox / hypecup / kappagen) it stuttered even though it didn't spike too much, and when I did the test bits (second notification, with same stuff) it had none of the lag.
So if my testing is correct and the first one is the problem (for whatever reason), I can go to the activity feed and repeat my most recent event before I go live. Is there any way to make tests not show up in the event lister?

I find a lot of fault with the sub count /goal widget. Not only does it not auto update for unsubscribers, but repeat subs are added to the count. I hate having to constantly update manually.
