Twitch doesn't have a notification system for hosts (unlike follows, subs, raids, etc.) so the only way for StreamElements to know that you are being hosted is to connect through you to twitch. This connection is made on:

- Ground Control desktop app - https://streamelements.com/groundcontrol
Please have one of these open during your stream in order to receive host event notifications.

@lament blade it looks like you have duplicates of his tips. Make sure to extend the "Fro" date so that it goes back before you started streaming, that way you are able to see all tips. You might have more duplicates out there

I have a strange problem - I am trying to get the chat widget to work, so I have created a blank overlay with just a chat window in it. The chat works fine when I "launch" the preview page, however in OBS the background shows (I can change the theme and it updates) however there is no chat appearing?

When I stream, I have my game on a monitor and OBS on the second one. However when someone redeems something in the store, I have no notification whatsoever about who redeemed what
I did add the widget for store prizes redemption on my overlay.
I'm probably doing something wrong, such as the item type, I'm not sure how to make it work...

That's not what I mean. You have multiple overlays, with multiple Alert boxes. Those will cause echos because they are playing in the background of your stream.

its in 1080 on site for sure, my resolution on obs is 1920x1080 downscaled to 1280x720, but when i enter my url into obs browser source and save, my overlay comes in at a resolution of 800x600 lol

I was using the HOTS animated overlay however. When I switched from Start Streaming overlay to the actual game stream overlay all the overlays (Webcam frame, etc.) came in with a delay. What is causing this? Is it because I am using Browser Source? This also happenend when I used a static overlay. But it does not happen when I use a picture instead of Browser source.

Loading time for overlays will vary based on your internet speed, ping to servers, and the amount of data to load in the overlay. Using studio mode, you can preload your next scene before transitioning so that no loading appears on stream. However, one question remains: I do need to make a hotkey for studio mode to make it preload and then another hotkey to actually make the transition. This mean I always need to observe OBS to see whether the preload already happened or not?

I personally use Fade transition with a few seconds transition time so i've never tried the Studio Mode transition, the preload doesn't normally take any longer than 5 seconds maximum @hot hollow
So if you leave around 5 seconds before making the switch it should be fine
