I don't need support for this, but I'm using Safari 11.0.3 and the Nightbot Import wasn't working (it never showed the checkboxes for things to import after authorizing Nightbot). Worked in Chrome. Just wanted to let you guys know! 😃 👍🏻

so im messing with kappagen and the goal is to have the emotes go over the whole overlay - but they seem to be spawning outside the area that they will actually show up on stream - sometimes the emotes dont even fly into the area that will appear on stream

hey bit of a simple problem i believe, so excuse my naivety. My main overlay in obs looks perfect, streaming at 1280*720p, 60fps, fantastic. Making a "stream starting soon" overlay and a huge portion of the overlay is cut off on obs as if the resolution/size is different, but i've quadruple checked and everything is the exact same setting as my main overlay. And on stream elements they're both set to 720p as well, really frustrating me

You need to put the browser source in 1920x 1080 and then press Ctrl F i believe to fit it to your screen
But our overlays are meant to be at 1920x1080
that's why it's cut off

@stray quarry also, check your task manager. If you have more CEF-Bootstraps than you have overlays on your one scene, then you need to go in and do "Shutdown when not visible" in ALL your browser sources
having these will cause quality reduction

it jitters in game, is that cause the bandwith it takes up
like it just feels scrappy, I always have 300FPS in game so its not my hardware

Good morning !
I've a question, I turned on the backup playlist on the songrequest tab, and usually have Ground Control playing the said playlist in the back.
However, yesterday a viewer typed in a songrequest, the song didn't play, the backup playlist just kept on going, but the weird thing was that on the theme that i'm using it did say it was playing the requested song.
Any ideas ?

Hey I was streaming today and some of my alerts were a bit delayed. I know it happens sometimes but it was a bit more than usual. Also the audio didn't work for one alert at one point. I checked it in the editor to make sure it was set up properly and tested it and it still took a while for the audio to play when the alert came up.

Kinda...so on the dash board over to the far right. There is a place to pick your game and to insert a comment before you go live. Once you input it you hit update. Our did not update on twitch when we went live.

Go into your Chrome settings, go to Advanced at the bottom, try turning off Hardware Acceleration and see if that improves the performance

if you click on the date/time column header it will order it correctly

@weak grove - just an fyi that you can't broadcast to both Twitch and YouTube if you're an affiliate. Other option would be to do some sort of browser capture region? Alternatively, if the top five are comparatively static (which is likely), you can just put the names into a .txt doc or source in OBS and update 'em when they do change.

Here it is
This command can be added to allow searching for a song. Bot will output youtube video ID that user can then use to do a songrequest. Response: Here's your video id: $(customapi.https://decapi.me/youtube/videoid?search=$(queryescape $(1:)))
So make a custom command called something like 'search' with that response, so they do something like "!search darude sandstorm" and it'll give them the video ID, so all they need to do then is !sr followed by the video ID the bot gives them

you need to open chat in a diffrent window I dont think Ground controll can display the chat
but Twitch has a neat "pop-out Chat" Feature
just click on the cog symbol in thebottom left corner and pop out the chat from there

So I have an issue I'm hoping there's a simple solution to. I'm using the Galactica Animated Overlay, and it causes my stream to stutter (not lag or buffer, per say, but just be choppy). When I use a scene that doesn't have the overlay it's fine. Just fyi, I stream at 720p/60, with 2500 bitrate. My gut says that it's because the theme is animated, and it's just too much, but I'd love some input. Thanks!
