@hasty briar Twitch doesn't have a "notification system" for hosts (unlike follows, subs, raids, etc.) so the only way for StreamElements to know that you are being hosted is to connect through you to twitch. This connection is made on:

Please have one of these open during your stream in order to receive host event notifications.

I've been having this issue with OBS where it would crash everytime I would change scene collection. After posting on the OBS forums, here's what they answered : "One of your browser sources (alerts or bit cups or such) is causing the issue."
I'm no expert, but I figured he meant Stream Elements since this is what I'm using, does anyone what I should do on SE to get this going agin ?

There's nothing you can change on our service to fix it. Thousands of people use the same things you are using and are not having crashes..
I would try reinstalling obs itself as a first step to troubleshooting.
If that doesn't help, discord.gg/obsproject has a bunch of helpful people who can maybe pinpoint it better.
I'm willing to bet it's just an obs setting causing issues in relation to the browser sources though

It seems Streamelements didn't send a message in the chat, did you configure the Emote Protection settings specifically? You need to type the custom message there for it to work

Those messages are sent with the timeout/ban. They are only seen by the person who received the timeout/ban and moderators. It is sent this way:
/timeout <user> 30 you were timed out for this reason

No, your CPU is rendering them. Depending on your hardware and the graphics in the overlay that could be completely normal.

Hey everyone! Anyone have issues with the overlay doubleing the sound on an alert... sometimes mine doesnt but most of the time it plays the sound twice ...it will start the first sound then about 2 seconds later it starts the sound again on the same alert. This is during stream and during the test

Hey guys, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask about this but I just downloaded the Ground Control Desktop App and it was instantly vaulted by my antivirus for malware. Is this a false positive?

@fickle epoch Yes, microsoft is taking a really long time to review and sign the program so some antivirus programs flag it. Please whitelist the installer and the program after it installs. Then when you launch Ground Control, do it by right clicking it and selecting run as administrator.

Basically, Youtube's API works on a points system, we get 1 million points to use a day with a monthly cap of 16 million points, if we have all songs show the name we use an insane amount of points each day, we don't want to reach the cap because then song requests are out of action for everyone until it resets
