The kind of program you'd need to divert it is called a virtual audio mixer, like Voice Meeter, we've had a few people mess around with it and end up not quite setting it up right, so it may be worth looking at some tutorial videos on youtube first if you want to attempt it 😃

If you have top tip set to session then that's only for your current stream, when you click on the widget you can easily change on the left settings menu whether you want it to show session top tip, weekly top tip, monthly top tip or all-time top tip

It queues song that are requested, in the settings you can add a backup playlist, you can change the order of the songs in the queue, you can make it so songs that are sent through the donation page are prioritised, you can make it so the videos for requested songs are displayed on your overlay

It's because we get the sub data from the sharing of the subscription in the twitch chat remember, so if it's shared twice, it's in the activity feed twice, they don't use that method because they have a webhook which detects the sub which we were not given access to

I am still unable to get Chat on screen widget to work, and last night I had to scrap my giveaway because the point system is messed up, it says everyone has 4246 points exactly when many of them have lots more, when I check the leaderboard the points are accurate. This was incredibly dissapointing to me, but moreso my Entire Chat!

True, true. But Twitch is a US-based company. If I'm not mistaken, that means it falls under jurisdiction of US law. At the very least, we do have to include "This is a promotion by [Your Name]. But at the very least it's worth a long, serious look and a lawyer 😛

I'll mention it to the Staff. StreamElements headquarters is in Israel. I think ultimately the responsibility falls on the streamer running the giveaway to make sure they abide by twitch ToS and their local laws.

Hello, need a little bit of help with songrequest. As the streamer, I can request any song and it'll add to the playlist.. however, nobody else in my chat can. When they link a song it will say that the song ID is too long and it won't add. I've already checked the duration limit in my settings and it's way past anything that anyone could request. Any ideas?

hey guys, two quick questions:

reset all time points always tells me: Error: Could not reset leaderboard!
importing csv with users and their currency from streamlabs results in "awesome" 😃 but it looks like there aren't any "new" points if i check the leaderboard.
Any suggestions?

so the thing I am hung up on is that I see the variable to increment on an existing variable, but I only see the !editcounter command to set a variable to a specific number, which does not seem to be working for 1 or multiple for me

hey friends! One little nitpick to point out- when i test donations in the overlay editor, the amount that it puts on a donation goal takes a very long time to disappear

so long, in fact, that i've never even seen it go away

I have to manually remove the amount each time

not a huge deal, but a bit of a pain

It doesn't actually add to the "tip goal progress" in the data, so I just have to go into data and click 'save changes' to make it go away

the animations/images are uploaded tot he overlay, so changing them has to be done outside the editor like any other image. Text you can change to any google font or color you want

You click on the browser source for the overlay and then you have these 2 arrows below the sources, one moves the layer up and one moves the layer down

You just need to make sure that the overlay is higher than anything you want to be behind it

However, we're currently developing our service to support youtube streaming as well at the moment so when that comes out we should get a better limit and then we can look to add features like that back in

My cheer sound is not changing, the sound file is changed, saved etc but when I emulate a cheer, its the stock sound thats played in obs. Any idea? PS: The sound for "tip" has changed to this mp3 so nothing wrong with the file.

I might have had a dream about this but im checking anyway. Is there one way to make regular viewers not see the command streamers and mods are asking the bot to set of. But only what the bot responds? To clarify. Lets say a mod is changing the title on the stream he might type !settitle huehue and the bot answers. But for the regular viewers only get to see what the bot answers and not what they mod says. Is this possible to do with some commands?

One thing that can be controlled remotely is anything within the overlay browser source because it can be edited on the fly by anyone with editor access to your dashboard

@wraith gyro At this time, if it's in a streamelements overlay, visibility of any layer can be toggled from the overlay editor on the dashboard by anyone given access. The ability to do this through chat commands isn't developed yet but may come in the future 😃 This idea can be upvoted/commented on to prioritize the feature request https://streamelements.helprace.com/i299-chat-activate-overlays

Actually, the steps seem to be different for firefox and I'm not aware of them ATM since I'm a chrome user. @turbid reef or @sacred edge can help for sure though

expand the window that opens so you can see Storage in the top bar and select it
In the left panel, open the cache storage, cookies, and local storage.
Right click on each of the https://streamelements.com and press delete all

i've got the bot dropping a single sladeF in my chat every minute when i'm offline so whoever chats first when i start my stream gets slammed with a massive timeout (which I or one of my mods will immediately reverse, of course) as a gag

I'm having issues where I'm not getting chat notifications when people host my channel, nor is it showing up on my stream elements dashboard, this has happened the last 4 times I've streamed and the only way I can check hosts are through my dashboard on Twitch, also not getting the notification in chat through Twitch either.

@lament blade the audio routing is actually simple, but that depends on your hardware. generally you only want to capture the sound output from the PS4 via HDMI (Avermedia) and your mic is on your PC

@lament blade you listen to your headphones to the PS4, but you will not get audio from the PC (in that case - StreamElements alerts etc) in that case. otherwise the routing is difficult and probably best solved by a mixer

Would a yeti be a better and cheaper solution? I could have the yeti plugged in the computer while have the headset plugged into the audio out of the capture card.

Yes. If you have the Yeti sitting around - do that. And on the output of the capture card.. i have a Razer Ripsaw, it is actually an Avermedia inside... Doorstopper, but you CAN make it work, try it 😃

I actually recomend a usb recording interface, I use a outdated blackjack i picked up for about 35$ and got a 10$ mic and a xlr cable and i sware it sounds better than any usb mic i've ever owned.

and the fact you can monitor your voice in real time back through most of the recording interfaces now and the use of phantom power with them makes it that much better.

It depends. A good audio setup can cost you a truckload of money, more than your console, it is not for everyone. Specially if a pretty expensive Yeti is already avaliable

If you need direct monitoring, a good mixer is your best friend. combine that with a good set of headphones and a condenser mic - and you're good to go and 300-500$ are gone, but this stuff holds for ever
