@lone terrace Twitch doesn't have a "notification system" for hosts (unlike follows, subs, raids, etc.) so the only way for StreamElements to know that you are being hosted is to connect through you to twitch. This connection is made within the Activity Feed code. This code is on:

Check the variation settings within the alertbox. There are variations by default for some of the events like sub and cheer

So, all of my notifications seem to work fine except for tips. When someone tips me, the money goes through to my PayPal and it shows up under the tip moderation area, but it doesn't trigger the alerts or add to my dashboard on the home page. I kept having viewers in my stream be able to enter a giveaway multiple times even when I only set it to once.
The way I "thought" of fixing this was making the first ticket free and then making any other ticket reaaaally pricy-.... it didn't work so I undid that giveaway too, accidentally pressed " refund tickets ", and viewers got refunded 9999999 currency even tho they " bought it " for free....
In the end I think I got it all to work by disabling !enter and !ticket <amount>

@still plover The way the variations work, is that when a dono comes through, it first looks to see if there is a variation that fits it. If you have a minimum of $10, then that variation will only trigger on 10+. If the dono is 9.99, and there is no variation, it will pick the default

you can change the number, click save, and it will update the number in the middle.

The number is designed to be a "session" based goal. During the period of time you are looking at, you get x number of subs. This does not count un-subs, as there is no notification when you lose a sub, so no way to decriment them. If you want the exact count, the only widget that pulls that is the Total Subscriber widget. I think there should be an option for the Sub goal to sync with your Total Subs, instead of just being a counter widget

Twitch doesn't have a "notification system" for hosts (unlike follows, subs, raids, etc.) so the only way for StreamElements to know that you are being hosted is to connect through you to twitch. This connection is made within the Activity Feed code. This code is on:

As for tip alerts, do you have tip moderation enabled in the tipping settings?

the extra life alerts tend to take a few minutes after a donation to show up. as long as people are donating through the link that connects to your profile, it should register. Also, the alert box does not come with a sound by default, so you should add one

Our website is primarily built around Chrome for the time being, the reason being that the majority of users use it and OBS, Xsplit etc use Chromium for their browser source plugins
We do hope to make the site function better on other browsers in the future, although seeing as right now it works 100% all okay on Chrome it's not a priority issue
