We've not had that many reports recently of it failing
Cases where it fails are generally down to the contents of the alert box not being able to be imported, which could very well be the case for mine as well, seeing as it's been almost a year I don't remember how mine was set up

When I streamed last Sunday I got a sub but my alert box did not alert. I have had this issue before and only got to "retest" it then. Before it was both my follows and subs but now only subs. I am using chrome and tried reloading but it doesn't even register in the event list

Updating to Holiday sounds/alerts today. For some reason, It's still playing my old alerts. I've refreshed my browser cache in OBS Studio and even deleted the sounds from SE and my old sounds are still happening. I've launched and copied my updated overlay as well into OBS but nothing is updating. Suggestions?

My tipping page is configued and displaying correclty but the widget is not. I cannot finde a control option to change this. Can this be configured or am I stuck with $ in the progress bar?

Alright, so they're not sharing their sub in that case, which means that we don't find out about it until they do
It's the thing I mentioned earlier
What we look for is the message in the chat when a sub is shared, so if that message isn't put in the chat because the person didn't share it we can't find out about it
So the simple solution is to ask people to share their subs ๐

Copy that into the URL box when you're creating a browser source on OBS and make sure to put the correct resolution for your monitor

Can you double check the settings under kappagen -> emotesplosions and make sure the events you want are enabled. If they are, try unchecking them, saving, enabling them again, saving again.
After that, does it work when you emulate events?

Try what i said originally, you'll probably want to refresh the cache of your browser source for SE. Another thing you can do it log out of SE and log back in to refresh your twitch token as well

Hosts are detected different (twitches choice), which is why the activity feed has to be open. But you don't have to have it open on your laptop, you could easily open it on your phone

it isn't a bug, its designed so you can still make certain edits, but the on/off is only triggerable through the modules section

if you hover over the switch, it says Controlled by module settings
It could reallly be in a differnt color, because it is very close to the color that the "off" switch is, though just lsihglty greyer, lol

hi. im playing around with a new overlay. and the 'recent donation' and top 'donation says 'no date' how do i get that to work?
ive had donations from streamlabs
and i have a alertbox not sure if its working properly

recent donations populate as you get donations, and top donation defaults to session, you can change that to weekly, monthly and alltime
as for hte alert box, there is an emulate button in the bottom left

When you click on the widget you'll get a dropdown on the left which lets you select session, weekly, monthly or all-time

if you have the most recent version of OBS, and you don't see broswer source, you must have unchecked the box duruing install. It will require you to uninstall and reinstall
