There's a message with each tip that says "thanks for the tip" so it's clear that each donation is a tip, if somebody does a chargeback you'll still have to fight it but this will get you started with proving it's purpose

We are looking at alternative payment methods, some of which may end up offering more substancial chargeback protection, we'll have to see 😃

@shy knoll are you downscaling your output to something like 720p? also your bitrate might be too high. Shadowplay uses your GPU as well as presets based on your hardware, OBS uses your CPU by default and requires you to set those things up. When we did our site redesign there was a way for your twitch information to be leaked, so we had to remedy that problem and change the way we handled hosts in order to keep everyone safe.

So the two options are

https://streamelements.com/groundcontrol This is our desktop app. It has your activity feed built into it, along with songrequest management and hotkeys to skip songs/alerts

The other method is just keeping this webpage open: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/activity (it has a popout button if you want a smaller version)

The desktop app is the easiest though.

As for loyalty points not being given, this might be a result of not having one of those open as well (for host bonus)

If you really dont like anything extra ran on your pc you could keep the webpage open on your phone or a laptop or an ipad, anything really

We currently do not support that, because we have a limit with the youtube api, but we have a slight work around, let me get it for you 😃

I am new to Stream Elements and streaming in general. I've been messing around with the overlays all this afternoon and I thought I had gotten everything set up but there were a few issues. 1. The gif I used for follower alert is not showing up in the live stream, only the sound is activated. 2. The gif I used for cheer is trailing? It's showing all the frames of the gif even though I've verified it's not like that anywhere else. However, this same alert won't save the image or sound I set for it regardless. When I press emulate, it shows the default gif and sound. 3. My tip alert plays the sound twice? It plays and then half a second later starts again on top of the first one.

Scratch the trailing gif part. I managed to find the issue.

1. Yes, it does show on the overlay manager. It replaces the default image with the one I uploaded and selected for it. 2. Just the first part is fixed. It still won't change the image and sound to what I uploaded and selected. It's showing the default gif and the default sound when I press emulate even though the manager shows my selections.

If you see the default image instead of your image at all it's going to be because you haven't edited the Variation Settings yet, that's where you add Variations

I mean, what you see in the overlay manager is played in a browser source which is captured by OBS, so if it's working on the overlay manager then it's working in general, the issue must stem from a setting in OBS I'd imagine

Because you changed your name, you need to log out of the website, log back in and then tell the bot to Join your channel again

Then your commands will work again
