You just didn't have a lot of activity between the time of that host to your latest stream, so the alert stayed on your event list for 2 extra streams

Raids arent working on the old version of the alertbox, but we're working on a fix currently.
For now the easiest way to get it working without re-doing everything is: Add a new alertbox widget, untick all the alerts except for raid, customize the raid alert.
Roll with 2 alertboxes until its fixed :)

I'm sure it's been reported already, but raid alerts are not triggering properly. They can be triggered inside the overlay editing interface via the event simulation menu, but real raids are not setting it off. To get around the active bug where pre-existing alert widgets don't work with raids I added a new alert widget specifically for raids. I see it trigger when I simulate a raid, but not during actual raids. Hoping both bugs can be tackled.

Just ran a test. If I have my stream overlay running and click the "Replay" button on the Activity Feed for a raid event, the raid alert still does not trigger.

I'm trying to use the songrequest widget in the overlay maker - it doesn't seem to display songs from the backup playlist. It only ever seems to change text when a song is requested - is this intended behaviour? How can I remove the "No song text" if playing songs that aren't requested in the stream elements player.

It's the variable which displays the song name which says "No song" when that's the case, if you remove the variable it'll not display the name of requested songs either

You're not doing it wrong, it's just using up our API calls if we do it for every single song played, if we can limit it to just making API calls when a song is requested it's within the limit we have, we have millions of API calls each month afaik, but they still get used up if we have things like this enabled, it's unfortunate but also unavoidable until the limit is raised

Overlays - two quick questions. One, how do I reset my starting follower count to 0 on my goal tracker widget? When I first set my goal, I set it to 5. When I went live, instead of 0/5, it showed 18/5. Second, my images for alerts are taking up the entire viewer window. How do I resize them down to a small image and place it better?
The interface is not intuitive regarding placement. Too many lines for boxes in the way. Wish it was more WYSIWYG

@modern echo One: Go to Data from the Overlay Manager and go to Goals, you can reset the goals from there. Second: Check your Layers if you're not sure where your alert box is and you'll find it listed there, click on it and you can drag and stretch it to your desired position and size 😃

So, I actually figured out what it was.
The new windows "Fall creator" update
has caused OBS to behave differently or something.
My CPU utilzation with OBS before update: ~30% peak
after update: 60% and a hard throttle due to 100% cpu utilization
Because I'm also getting inherent frame lag that doesn't even get reported in my FPS counter from my monitor or game 
(I use GSYNC)

@undone dagger If you remove the "Shutdown when not active option" option from the overlay with the cup, it wont empty on scene switch.
Currently, it should always empty on stream end (rather, obs close.) If you never close obs after stopping stream, technically it wont empty.

Yes, you can shut them down when you're not using them, right click on them, click on properties and tick 'shutdown source when not visible'
It means that they'll need to load in fresh each time you switch which can take a couple of seconds but there's a couple of ways to solve this, you can load them using studio mode before switching, I use a fade transition timer which seems to help 😃

I have a playlist setup. When a viewer decides to request a song, I usually have to restart the program just to get it to register.
Anything requested after the initial song is fine, but always have to restart after the first song request.
It use to run smoothly and switch to the newly requested songs no problem.

Well for me I still use both as an intigrationsal Back-up system. When one goes down Hot key pressed to swap between the overlays

I made my own supertheme for Persona 5 and I have 3 different scenes on SE. In game, Starting Soon, BRB. But since each of those SE overlays is in its own OBS scene it doesn't load the three sources at the same time
Thus saving my processor
