also when i try to edit my store, it is bringing up the create a new store item instead of allowing me to edit the current item I am attempting to edit

Side note for another bug. When you become a twitch affiliate, it doesnt change in your loyalty settings until you log in and out. Simple fix is logging in and out but the system doesnt auto update.

After an update, my overlay alerts stopped working, as well as my store redemtion section. When I go to edit anything it shows an empty section and If I try and re type the item it says an error has occured. Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix?

Redeeming via chat should be working currently.

If your alerts are working on the site but not in obs, try opening the properties of the browser source and scrolling down to refresh the cache.

The redeeming part is working. They points are being subtracted and the alert goes into streamelements just fine but the display through OBS doesn't work. However the main issue is I stock my store prior to each stream and a lot of items are sold out. So I can not edit the amount of items left in the store at this time it will not let me.

Ok, after messing around with everything I have found a work around. First off what I have found out was anything that was created prior to the update does not work. So I made another overlay for the time being with my alerts. After creating items I was able to test and the new items show up on the new alert overlay. Hope this helps anyone who needs a quick fix!

Basic difference is sound/image and thing.

So people can redeem sounds/images to be played on screen to maybe scare you. And a thing would be rewarding your users with either a physical object, or providing them with something on stream

It could be a range of things, such as, letting them play with you, playing a certain game, asking a question if chat is moving too fast. Things like that

The difference between the two isnt much. Stream perks is the same as sound effects, except a stream perk doesnt require a sound to be uploaded - this means if no sound is uploaded it will play the sound uploaded in the redemption widget

If you use ${count <name of command>} that'll display the count but also add 1

It doesn't get added automatically, I believe it's something that's been wanted for a while but currently we allow 2 types of redemptions: Sounds & Stream Perks, Stream Perks have to be manually done for now, there has been talk of automating some things for this in the future

Hey guys I had a question, is the lag on the Alert system normal? When we get a follow we will get the chat saying Thank you for the follow then maybe a min later the Alert will come up on the stream. Also sometimes the sound for the alert will play before the GIF even shows up.

yes, it's normal for follows to be delayed upto 1m on display, but it's something we'll solve soon when twitch released a new way to handle that

Make sure you dont have the website open. Open your browser source properties and check "shutdown source when not visible" on your brower sources

Especially if you're using multiple scenes

It means that when you're not on the scene with the alert, it will pause itself so no sounds/etc come through for that specific scene

Redeeming store items via chat should be working.

Also I believe if you add a new store item, the redemption should work.

I just opened my streamelements page and went to my store to edit a redeem, and all cant change anything on any redeem. The edit box comes up with the default info as if I was starting a new redeem. If I change anything and try to save, it doesnt save. All my redeems are there, but I am unable to edit. Is this a known issue?

Once you do that, go to "Activity feed" and see the right hand panel. If you do not see "Bits" it is still an issue, and you should try CTRL + Shift + R.

if you do see "BITS", go and refresh your totals 😃

That's correct. When you log in with a twitch account, you'll be add a supertheme or theme to your overlay manager and edit the graphics in the editor. You can then add that overlay URL to your streaming software and stream to Mixer

When full integration becomes available, you'll be able to utilize the rest of the StreamElements tools

Now that I can miraculously edit my overlays again I need some clarification about AlertBox. I'm using CSGO super theme and there's a image alertbox already: ok. I'm trying to use the existing alertbox with a second alertbox to use a gif that pops behind the first one. When I emulate the follower thing it works but the rest keeps the original shark gif and message even when I delete it.
Ps.: My english isn't my first language so.. sorry about the poor grammar

Now, in terms of the notification on StreamElements

When tip moderation is enabled, it requires manual approval of tips when they come in before the alert will show.

Unfortunately, the approvals are not working right now BUT it is being worked on right this second and there should be a hotfix incoming shortly

So for the time being, let's disable tip moderation

And when the approval system works again you'll be able to approve those and have the notification go off 😃

Youtube API limit is the reason for this. As soon as youtube raises SE's limit, search may be possible again.
