Also, we haven't even touched on in-game graphics settings...
We've discovered that the frames are being dropped as they come into OBS
So lowering the graphical settings and reducing overlay animation is the best solution to speed up the rendering

so i local recorded my game play granted I don't have the GPU (still rocking a 970) and recorded at 1080p60 then at 720p60 after getting 31st place with 2 kills. 720p is better but looking at one of your vods it's worse than my 1080p recording

If you activate profanity filters, it can remove certain words. But the reason for tip moderation is to stop people from abusing tip messages. I wouldn't want to stop someone from donating to me, unless they where charging back.

I've currently got that option set to delete the link, but with a time out of just one second. If you make a new command in chat commands theres something called "command templates" in the new command box that pops up. you can select the !shoutout command to give you all the info you need and edit the response to what you need it to do.

Overlay can be loaded on phone or laptop, it can have anything on it, or nothing.

Need help: Someone donated last night, but my alerts didn't notify on stream, and its not showing up in my tip stats on my dashboard. @lament blade had the same problem. go to your tip setting page and turn off moderation. having that enables requires you to approve/deny every tip you get. you dont need it enabled for the filters to work. you can accept his tip from the moderation page (under tip settings) and it will trigger the alert

ManicPixie is probably right about the tip moderation. If its not that, a brief hiccup in our service might have caused it to be missed if its working now. I have no way to look.

@storm ledge The only thing I can speculate to help would be to raise the process priority setting. That should give your pc a higher priority on OBS overall. It might just not be processing it right.
Also, are you running it in admin mode? I know that helps.

A friend of mine is trying to use the overlay for StreamElements on OBS and the overlay fits the resolution hes on but, when he tries to drag it out to cover the entire scene, it does not fit in OBS. We even tried the actual dimensions in the properties and it comes out as way too big :/ not sure what to do here

@onyx oasis it depends. if the argument is a user, you can use ${user}. if ${user} isn't provided, the user sending the message will be used. if the argument is just plain text, then no, you have to provide some kind of text for the command to work

SE superthemes are premade stream packages (5 overlays) that you can then customize in the editor

There are also typically a 16:9 and 4:3 option but you need to open the editor to choose and adjust things
