StreamLabs has special access to something which allows them to not need the servers, so while the servers were down, we didn't see it. Hopefully we get access to this special thing soon too!

I've never edited any commands through chat, I don't think you can do that.
Most people think "!editcom" because of nightbot. If you use your dashboard, you can edit the commands.

This type of message shows up? If that is the case (the viewer shared the sub) then SE should not have a problem receiving the information through the API.
The difference comes when the viewer does not share their subscription. In these cases, the subscription alert is not available through the API but is through the webhooks (something that is being worked on)

As for not being able to skip, that is a bug that will be fixed.

I had a prime sub yesterday (resub). I never saw the message in chat on Twitch dashboard shoes the sub. As well as the revenue now here is where things get interesting. I never saw the not fixation for the sub on the twitch dashboard. But streamlabs shows it on the history. But stream elements does not. Very odd.

That's normal, if the sub wasn't shared we don't find out about it, Streamlabs has access to a tool which lets them get that information without it being shared, we don't have access to that tool yet

@SilverServerT#9167 The countdown timer get resetted everytime the overlay loads. If you have ticked the checkbox called "shutdown when not visible" in your browsersource properties, it will start over everytime you switch scene

Trying to make the switch from StreamLabels, but having some issues with the alerts... I'm hearing my alerts twice. I've muted the editor, but sound still comes from it. I want to create a command with steam in mind that I can put the name of a game and the return of the closest matching result of said game along with Current price. A bot I used seemed to do that and I was not sure how they did it. I assume it has to do with an API. Anyone know?

Anyway from the layers area you pick the thing you wanted to move it has a collapsed bit call "Position size and style" top and left is where it's position is in the overlay you would change the numbers there

Ground Control will see upgrades but it's designed to be the essentials while streaming, not the whole SE experience.

they're there by default.
You might have to delete and re-add the cup to see them, but if you do that you'll lose any customization unfortunately

alright so i found the tip that isnt showing up in the moderation page but it doesnt have anything that would trigger it needing to be approved/denied. none of my moderated/banned words are in the message. if i have moderation on, will i need to approve/deny every tip? that seems redundant if it doesnt include a word ive listed in the "filtered" section of the tipping settings.

Yes, if tip moderation is on you need to accept/deny every time, that's what tip moderation is all about
I think the confusion is you're assuming you need to tick Enable moderation for the other settings on that page to work

you can rehide it afterwards but if you're just loading it up the list wont load

I changed my password today on twitch, I reconnected streamelements, the hypecup wasn't detecting bits, but it was showing subs (do we have an eta on when the sploosh will be good) and later towards the end of stream the subs weren't showing up. Even in the dashboard they weren't showing.

No, overlays require a PC or mobile device that can accept browser sources. However, you can use the bot in your channel including chat alerts and the SE tipping page.

Alright. An issue me and a couple of my fellow streamers are having using stream elements. When using the overlays we get frame drop not bitrate or any of that just the fps drops no matter what settings we are using. Any Idea what the fix is

^ upvote to this problem, OBS experiances the frame drops for the recording, not the actual game

@pale heron I watch a bit of your last stream. There is a lot of motion in your stream. Maintaining a stream of 60fps is not easy while playing a game like PUBG which is poorly optimized right now. In addition to the game, there are four text scrolls, the boom meter, and the hype cup. This is a lot of motion to try to render/encode. Using static text should provide a good FPS boost to start

Also, make sure that EVERY browser source in OBS has โ "Shut down source when not visible." This is very important because if not checked, you will have multiple overlays running at the same time while only one is visible.
