Cup physics were changed a bit on the last update to prevent tokens from falling through the cup. This stopped some of the sploosh from before. In upcoming versions, the devs are looking to find a happy medium between the two versions.

The best solution at the moment is to maximize the weight difference between large events and small. Also try increasing the bounce setting on the main cup settings

If it's taking that long to load for you, studio mode would be needed. The reason that two alerts are happening is because there can be two scenes loaded at a time when in studio mode: loading and live. The only time you want two scenes loaded is when transitioning. This can be accomplished with these settings:

The third option is the one that should be definitely unchecked. The first two are personal preference but if checked will require more CPU

The alertbox widget box is the area that the alerts will show in. Sometimes based on text settings and the amount in a message or a long name, it gets cut off. You can use a smaller font, enlarge the box, or change the wrapping of the text

Hi all - I can't seem to get Song Request to work. I (thought I) set it up in the Dashboard, and I tested it by streaming and logging into a dummy twitch account, viewing my stream, and typing in !sr https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFTLKWw542g but nothing happens

Subscriber Goal is quite literally a goal so it goes up when you gain a new sub/resub, if you're wanting the total number of subscribers that you have then there's a separate widget for that called Total Subscribers

Delete the Subscriber Goal widget and add in the Total Subscribers widget instead

The Total Subscribers widget can be edited to include something like " / 10" for example

I decided to enable donations on my twitch stream. I set everything up and then came over to streamelements to update that too. I wasn't sure if I had to import any of this to streamelements so I checked the "import your settings from other tools". Then I came to the screen where you choose which tool to import. It tells me that streamlabs is blocking users from importing data. Does this mean my alerts etc. will no longer work?

The import is a one-time of the donation data, nothing to do with other alerts as after the import you no longer use Slabs. Unfortunately they blocked us (for now). Have you imported the donation data before or was this the first time. If the latter, doing a manual imut is an option

This is probably a stupid question but I am just starting. The way I understand it instead of importing individual elements like alert box and notifications separately into xsplit. You make an entire overlay and then point to the overlay in xsplit (obs)

Just some feedback: "It’s also worth remembering that the higher you go the more your PC has to encode, 3500 is a good average." this is wrong for NVENC in fact the higher the bitrate the easier it is on your PC, the only reason to lower your bitrate is due to your upload speed. I've provided this info in the past @tight harness and the worse the PC running it, the easier it is to see it's effects. It's a common misconception because for CPU encoding lower is actually easier.

bitrate is just how well its gonna look... has no effect on system performance. x264 encoding tho (the veryfast, fast, medium etc) is what eats the CPU

Leozas - I stream at 6k bitrate with nvnec and cpu always sits at 8-9%, CPU encoder x264 sits at 24% ish (or sometimes higher depending on if the action is crazy and the encoder itself has to work it)

You will still have to make different overlays if there are options that are different between the scenes (like an start/end/afk one etc) but it lets you upload all your images and has its own widgets to show like top tipper/new follows etc so it just is one item

and it just becomes an browser source

So you take this HTML file and put it somewhere safe (and you'll be using this as your one browser source) then edit this with NotePad or NotePad ++ (i prefer the later) inside there will be code.In there is 2 lines for 2 overlay urls just copy and paste one line if you need more. Then each overlay source URL goes into each line in the area where it says "SEOverlay Here" -- then user the browser plugin, use local file and find the local html and voila multiple sources in one browser plugin
