since I am using Streamelemts super Theme for PUBG I am dropping a tons of frames :/ any suggestions how I can fix that ? My computer is good enough tbh, gtx 1080 16gb ram, intel Core i7 6700K

@upper whale StreamElements Animated Super themes represents a very high load as it has to render multiple video files all the time. Tho, a 6700K and a gtx 1080 should be more than enough. Is the "Shut down when not visible" checkbox ticked in your browsersources properties?

yep, basically if you have multiple overlays in multiple scenes, they will all stay loaded all the time, that's why your system might be throttling. Also if you don't check that box, you will hear sound notif multiple times

@sly crow Hey I'm late AF, but if you want the bot to greet people, you can create a greet/hello command and add stuff like hello, hi or what ever keyword you want for that command. Just keep in mind that the command will be trigger even if the keyword part of another word. For instance, "i'm high" will trigger the command because the message contains "hi"

I'm having an issue with overlay setup. Trying to update/create overlays in Chrome and it is constantly freezing the session. This just started happening in the past week or so. Nothing on the pc has changed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled chrome several times and of course rebooted the pc.

also are you using the hypecup? it can take a few seconds to load depending on your internet connection

I'm a bit frustrarted at this point because I'm not able to do any updates without it pretty much not letting me do anything... I have a 70Mbsp internet connection so I'm pretty sure it's not that

Hello everyone me again. I'm not sure if the custom alert system is working like I am wanting it to. I can upload my alerts used on stream labs however, the audio files seem to echoe like in a chamber of sorts like it's contantly repeating. These are the same alerts I would use with stream labs. So I am wondering if I am doing something wrong here. When I test the alert it seems to catch and freeze and start back up where it left off but then starts back up from the beginning. I don't know if it's because I am wireless or not or maybe I'm getting alot of ping issues for this? Kind of strange to me, It works just find on stream labs. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Yes, in OBS you right click on the overlays you added there, click on Properties, there'll be a tick box which says 'shutdown when not active'
If you don't shut them down when they're not active, they'll still be open so you'll get double, triple etc. sound

Ok well I am using the same mp3 file and gif file you see there for stream labs and it works just fine with my alerts there. What I did was upload it on the stream elements site right? So now I am testing the Emulator Alert to see how well the alert goes and well where it shows up and all that jaz. Just incase I need to move the alerts spot and all that. Which I did actually have to move it. But when testing the alert on the stream elements site it makes me concerned if it's going to do the same thing when I stream my channel see. It's giving me a terrible echoe when I test it with the emulator on site. You know that event emulator? at the bottom left corner there. you can click on it and you can emulate the follower alert. That's what I'm doing and that's why I am concerned at the moment. Is my side wrong or is the emulator wrong or something else. I hope that makes sense.

These do two different things. Left is a counter (+1 only on new follower event). Right is pulling the data from Twitch. If you're using the Follower Count, resetting the session isn't going to help.

Update fixed the hotkeys \o/ is there a way to add a delay to them though as currently they still don't queue up in the app at all, it's instant and I don't have time to skip the alert without it displaying for a seccond.

In stuido mode, if I have two scenes selected (one live, one ready to transition) and send a follower through, there is around a 0.2ms delay so the sound repeats a tad

Not checking this means that when you are not ready to transition the live and preview will be the same
when you are ready to transition, click or hotkey your new scene and transition once it loads

Can you try adding the sound in the overlay manager again. After that go to your browser source properties and scroll down and refresh the cache. See if that changes anything. You should have have the box checked to shutdown source when not visible

@jade tide someone asked the same yesterday. Turns out the person renamed the wrong give command, the one that is used for user to user.
For viewers
!givepoints ${sender} gave 10 ${pointsname} to ${user} PogChamp
For caster or (super)moderator
!addpoints Give points to viewers. Use 'all' for all chatters (aliases: !editpoints, !bonus)
!setpoints Set the points of a viewer.

@viscid trout You can lower/raise the amount of point per 10 minutes, you can not change the period of ten minutes.
@radiant crest I was under the impression that when you turn of the RT/replies only your own tweets show in chat.
What you are saying is that in the example below, both Kidkerrigan's chat and StreamElements chat would show my tweet?

Hey guys, I'm modding for a streamer who uses StreamElements and we have a viewer that just occasionally roulettes all and has won around 10 times in a row (if I remember correct) and has gotten 474325 points that way. No one else has gotten that lucky so far and as far as I'm aware of, and my streamer has the roulette chance set to default. Could there be something weird going on?

There is honestly nothing to investigate, no logs, no options, we in fact don't have any control over it. It's code so either settings are wrong, or the guy was lucky. It's 0 or 1, just like roulette.

I think this would be an inintended behavior since if streamers have rewards set up pretty high and viewers can just get lucky on roulette enough to get that even with the streamer intending the payoff for roulette to be negative, that would be a negative experience.
So this means that roulette is just completely random? No random shuffling or something like a lot of games use?

Default is 45% odds to win I believe. There is definitely nothing strange about winning 10 times in a row with those odds.

So if we set the chance to be lower or set the rewards to be higher, it will still be expected to happen eventually to a viewer with streamers that have a consistent couple hundred number of viewers?
Just wondering if that is a problem or not, our mods are a bit concerned

@spare sequoia its random chance. Each shot of the command has a mutually exclusive chance to win. It doesn't matter what happened before, the next shot is still a % chance to win. Though the chances are slim, it is possible to have people win 14 times in a row, but also lose 14 times in a row

The odds are not in their favor. The more they gamble, the more likely they are to go bust
Short streaks are inevitable. In the long run they will always lose more than win.

I understand that, but can we prevent them from getting millions of points by just rouletting and doing nothing else? Because it will bound to happen with the number of people that will play roulette with the current algorithm.

You can switch to a random shuffle bag algorithm per player and then using that, hard set the max number of possible wins in a row.

I understand if that it's hard do to for StreamElement because I don't know how you guys set up the backend, but I don't think there is nothing we can do about someones luck is true

because what you are talking about would be a completely different game type, where chance is limited
