@mental kettle you need to create an overlay and add the store redemption widget to get an alert. to see your pending redemptions, you need to go in Stream store then clcik on the redemption button in the top right corner
you can also use ground control, our windows app available in activity feed to see all your recent events like followers, redemptions, etc

@lost current does the timer have any chat lines? If that is the case, you need that many chat lines regardless of how short the timer is. If you set it to 0 chat lines, it will trigger every 30 minutes

I think you used a preset, which should have alerts there. You can press the emulate button to see the alerts with a fake event
@fallow hatch on the overlay you want to edit (after creating it), click the pencil that is below the name of the overlay, it will bring you into the editor

I have it enabled, but the mods can't use the commands. They're greyed out in the commands options, and it says they're controlled by the module settings.. but the music feature isn't in modules? π€ The music stuff has its own section and I have the whole thing enabled. Not sure why it's not letting myself or my mods use any of the commands.

@shut glacier you can do it either way. When setting the variation, you can choose exactly 3, which will ONLY trigger at 3 month. Or, you can choose at least 3, which will trigger for 3, 4, 5 months (assuming you have the exactly/at least 6 months)

There are two voices in that, which is you?
Your keyboard sound can be suppressed by using a noise gate in OBS
And G430 is a gaming headset. The mic quality on that is not going to be nearly as clean as a stand-alone mic would be.

For the noise gate, you want to adjust the open gate and test by typing until your keys canβt be picked up.
That will keep the keyboard from keying the mic to open.
There are ways to suppress the keyboard sounds even while youβre talking but a lot of that has to do with mic position and being able to really keep that away from βhearingβ the keyboard.

@minor eagle Do you have the alert box on multiple scenes? If so, makes sure that you have 'shutdown when not active' ticked in the settings for the overlays with the alert boxes in it, otherwise you will hear the sound for all of them whenever an event happens

The animated overlays are running through OBS browser source plugin which is CPU and memory intensive. Your CPU is a quad-core with hyperthreading and 4 years old. It willstruggle to render,encode, and stream the animated overlays in addition to the game. Most streamers use the static versions unless they have a newer i7 or ryzen processor.

If you really want to use animated overlays through SE a newer processor (i7 or equivalent) will be required. Keep in mind there are static versions available for all of the animated ones.

Animated Overlay Causing issue with me also, 7700k @ 5.0ghz, using two PC setup, to 4790k @ 4.8ghz. Regardless of what OBS I use, framerate plummets. just an fyi.

These two PC's are using NDI plugin for streaming setup
main PC's settings, as thats all you can really alter
it lags in that preview window before reaching the 2nd pc.

I mean, has anything changed on your end? did you just add the second pc? I'm not sure that streaming over network to another pc that streams to twitch benefits anything but you said it doesnt matter if the plugin is disabled?

Is there a reason you're streaming at 1080p 60? no ones really going to benefit from that other than maybe you're vods tbh. Most twitch viewers internet isnt going to fair well with that. Not even the top streamers on twitch stream at 1080p60
You can get similar results with 720p60 with lower encoding presets and it might make your obs fps situation stop.
I would really advise a capture card for dual pc though, ontop of what i mentioned above. Sorry i don't really have a better solution overall though

it does stream at 720, 1080 out to 2nd pc then downscaled again to 720.

i have a capture card but I have nothing but problems with a 1440p 144hz monitor
second pc has been here for a while, symptoms persist with a barebones OBS with nothing installed. thats how I narrowed it down.
It's ok though, just wanted to mention it. it's not like im going to stop using streamelements lol

Hey, I'm having an issue setting up my notifications;
My image stretches across the entire screen, the image is 1920x1080 to match the canvas size in OBS. After I uploaded the image and set the size to 1920x1080 in SE I tried a test follow and the image is smaller than the bounding box and doesnt go across the entire canvas

and under position, size and style, I set the width and height to be 1920x1080 to match it, but there are huge spaces on each side
