- Duplicate the overlay you set up
- Delete everything from the duplicate except the alertbox
- Use this alertbox overlay in addition to your normal overlays
- Add it to any scenes you want in OBS

yes its part of our rules but ive sen in in so many streams that also use different bots, and that bot gives the mesage "user" won the giveaway, type !claim to claim the win in "x" minutes
bc as others do it, its not fair kinda to enter and then go offline, and be gone for hours while ppl that are there watiing for giveawy to end get empty handed
and its hard to get to that person also later on..

Hello. I'm having some issues with StreamElements. I'm trying to setup a custom overlay, however, it won't let me upload any video files, which I use for backgrounds.
In the upload tab, it specifies the following supported formats (.png, .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .mp3, .aac, .wav, .ogg and .webm)
Oh wait, webm is a video format. Would be nice if it allowed .mp4 or .mov files though π

@tight harness that's a shame. On Streamlabs Text to Speech dos not read out the emote only the Message. If I go back to the Streamlab alert it does not match up with the Kappagen firing off. So moved over the alerts to Stream Elements but reading out the emotes is a pain

@kind harbor When twitch reports viewers, they do it a really weird way. So you might not realize people where around. Those 4 people may have stopped by not logged in, or just to take a quick look, but they showed up when SE was checking for people

That will create two commands, one for normal viewers to use to view the death counts, and one for your mods to increment the count

@kind harbor don't trust twitch viewer count. They have an algorithm that they use that doesn't always show you the actual number of people currently on your channel, it's more of an average

Hello everyone, I was just wondering if there was a way to capture the Youtube videos playing on the song request page and show them on stream? I am using the latest version of OBS Studio.

possible, yes, but why? We have integration between tipping and loyalty that SL doesn't have, plus Kappagen and such for tipping, along with the new hype cup, you can get some awesome custom tips in your cup π

Aha! flipping the "Use entire screen for cup" on then off (not joking) made it so then i could position the cup with the slider within the frame of the widget size. (if that makes sense) just a little tricky when playing with all the settings.

Hello. I have some questions about loyalty settings. I've been having an issue with the host bonus. It's not giving people points for hosting. Is there a viewer minimum for it to register?
Also, how do you undo a timeout? I've had a few people try to post song requests and forget the command in front on accident. Then they get timed out for a minute when they didn't mean to.

no prob, I strongly advice that you fully switch to one or the other. maintaining 2 differents services can be quite tricky and can lead to errors. Plus we have way more features than StreamLabs

Just keep in mind a few things.
- Loyalty in SL is only available for desktop viewers. All mobile users will not be able to do ANYTHING with loyalty. Mobile users represents 40% right now
- We are working on extensions, so keep an eye out for that.
- Your viewers will also lose the ability to see any sort of leaderboard to compare points.
- Many other things that would take too long to list

the best thing to do with the custom ones will be to put it into your broadcasting software and resize it there

ok, there should be an option with xSplit to resize the source. Make sure you have it set to the normal dimensions (1920x1080), then there must be a tool to resize it based off of that
I have xsplit on my desktop at home, and will be able to play with it there

the problem is that the overlays we provide are built at 1080p, and to change to 720p, you would need to go in and change each and every one
@upper steeple only way right now will be to have it in a seperate overlay. They are working on fixing that π
