is there still no way to have StreamElements remind viewers of a running giveaway? !giveaway tells me there is no giveaway running when none is running, but when a giveaway is in fact running the bot doesn't respond to !giveaway at all. Do I have to manually copy and repost the announcement?
I just had a 3 hour stream and needed to explain how giveaways work every few minutes 
Also is there a way to give the ticket buyers some kind of feedback that they sucessfully purchased their entries? Until I told them their entries counted they usually try buying tickets several more times

This is ok @lament blade. The closest thing that Stream Elements has to what you are looking for is Giveaways. Your viewers purchase tickets in the giveaway with their points that they earn by watching the stream and playing chat games. You set the price of each ticket and the viewers and then draw one or multiple winners when you close the giveaway.
You just need to have that page open when you stream so that OBS can pick up the sound playing through your default playback device @vocal wren

Well, they require less resources than if you were to run them from your computer directly but the static overlays may be a better option for you

@hard mesa In the overlay editor there is a URL you can copy (or click on Launch Overlay to open it in a new window/tab and get the URL from there). You can then paste the URL as a Browser Source into OBS.

I use Streamlabs for my alerts on twitch. I just started using Streamelements overlays yesterday. In the overlays they had the alertbox widget added. So I deleted them, because I wasn't going to use it. I have that widget deleted on both of the overlays I'm using. Yet when I stream and have the overlay on my stream and someone follows, I hear my streamlabs alert, and I also hear a bell type sound which I'm 99% sure is coming from the overlay from stream elements.

The GC app will display alerts for you so you don't need to be previewing your stream to catch the alerts
Setting up on-screen alerts can be really simple to set up if you just add the widget to an overlay and add the browser source to your streaming software

a trick is to check the "shutdown when not visible" and use StreamElements for all your overlay needs, as we only need one overlay for everything

if you are using the animated one, it kind of uses a lot of processor. you will want to have a machine that can handle it. If it can't, I highly recommend reducing the number of animations on the overlay to compensate. The more moving things on it that your processor has to generate, the more it hurt

@vast python you could try to use pieces of the animated theme, if you go to the layers menu, you can hide certain aspects. The issue is that OBS uses the CPU to process all the browser sources, so the CPU has to render all the images, things your GPU is normally used for, thus more power needed. Static overlays will be your best bet

Im trying to remove an image from my alerts. For some reason, subscribe alert puts the Left Shark animation in when no image is selected? Is there a way to remove that and just show text?

@potent peak its a caching thing. Because we are "Shutting down when not visible", OBS unloads the cache, and reloads it when you bring it up. We are working on a way to reduce that load time

@weary mist xsplit is really easy to use... and they've done lots of updates. It's not that cpu intensive anymore

Been using xsplit longer than obs lol. Me personally I prefer xsplit more, however I'm using obs for pc streaming and xsplit for console streaming.

does the Slot Machine module's User Cooldown max out at 1800 seconds? im trying to limit users to !slots once per hour, but by trial and error, it only successfully updates up to 1800 seconds. 1801 seconds and up gives me errors

As a partnered streamer it's in the contract that you CAN"T stream on other platforms...however you may do YT vodeos just not stream
