Hey guys, need some help with how to go about something. Going to try and explain it as best I can.
I am going to be doing IRL streams, with a big focus on Dares and Challenges while me (and others possibly) are in the city/downtown.
I'll have 2 phones - 1 that'll be streaming, and 1 to read chat/type commands if necessary.
Using the StreamElements store, users will be able to use points to 'buy' a Dare, or Challenge that they can request.
1st Question: For the Dare / Challenge purchases, I'm trying to think of a way where there could be a 'list' or queue. As they pile up, it'll take time to do each one depending on what they are. Is there a way to make a chat command to see the next one Queue'd up?
2nd Question: For the Dare / Challenge purchases, I can have them send their request specifically with the 3rd option when creating a store item, so that they'd have to type it in (I.e., !redeem Dare Scream really loudly in a Library), however right now the only way I can see myself pulling it back up is on the StreamElements Dashboard underneath 'Store Redemptions' or 'Redemptions History'
Is there any way of getting to that on Mobile?

the only way I know to do that would be going to the website, go to stream store, then on the right, under the blue bar there is another "three-bar" button which will bring up a drop down where you can select redemptions which will show the list of redemptions

I am currently using several overlays, to reduce CPU load. One for the Alerts, one for the EventList and one for KappaGen. It has happened a few times that an event is registered in the EventList, starts KappaGen, but does not produce an Alert

I think it is somehow related to OBS not being able to utilize the gpu; in case a source contains gpu features, maybe the entire source should be rendered ia gpu. But since obs disables gpu, and uses cpu instead, the entire browser source is basically interpreted for gpu, than re-interpreted to cpu in chromium

In a nutshell, here's how to sum up NVENC vs x264
NVENC - OBS will use far less CPU with this method. However, Your GPU will be tasked with encoding your stream, which means that the level of quality will not be as good and you will be using up GPU power, so your games' graphics may have to be lowered to compensate. The best quality from NVENC will be at most a 7 out of 10. There will still be pixelation and blurriness during high action scenes.
x264 - OBS will use the CPU to encode your stream. How much CPU it uses is dependent on what x264 preset you select. The slower the preset, the more CPU that is used. However, if you have the CPU to handle this method, it yields the best looking stream possible when comparing the two methods.
Also to note: Streaming at 60FPS requires more processing power from either your CPU or GPU, depending on which encoding method you use.

I have sunk Streamlabs with my current overlay in the past and it shows the old dono's in my feed etc.... ok so super themes.... not sure if it is intended or explained correctly but i noticed that when editing them and adding custom alerts you have to do each section of the theme you have to edit seperatly or you will get EACH theme section firing off alerts all at once creating quad sounds. like once i have inserted the URL into OBS for each part of the theme and do a test alert for ANY alert the cheer alert default sound fires off in EACH theme section at the same time. so i hear it more than once. Unless im not correctly understanding how they work...
its like each section of the theme(ingame,brb,talk ect) seem to all be active at the same time even though the i only have one scene active

For the multiple sounds, you have to check "shut down source when not visible" in obs.

Hi to all. I'm looking for a bit of help with the stream store. I've added several sound effect items. But when someone redeems one the sound doesn't play on stream. It does show in chat that the person redeemed it, and while in the shop you can listen to the sound by pressing the preview play button. Anyone know what could be the problem?

Any donation service will display your name + paypal sends an email saying "You have sent money to NAME HERE", i reccomend you change your Paypal account to a business Paypal if you are accepting donations, there is no difference really except you can set a "Business name" and they will see that when donating 😃

Hey guys. Weird issue today where a Stream Elements overlay I'm using is causing big time FPS drops in OBS. Not on my actual PC / gameplay, but on OBS I'm dropping from 60fps to 15-20 but as soon as I Get rid of the overlay I go back to 60

@supple mantle Perhaps your browser is zoomed in? On most browsers ctrl+0 will reset the page zoom to 100%. Sometimes if you're zoomed in too much it can cause elements to get cut off.

Whoh... ok. Weird thing happening with follower goal.
Every time I test the alert, the number in the follow goal changes dramatically.
I'll emulate it and it'll say 16/3000, then 2/3000, etc.
