so accessing the source code i'm able to make it appear by chaing it's height (that was weirdly 0px) .. might be linked to my problem
once i do that i was able to add my label and change position no problem, they even update correctly

well, sometimes people don't change the default width/height (800x600) in OBS, which only captures a corner of the default overlay size (1920x1080)

They're disabled by default. But if you login to your Dashboard on the Streamelements page and scroll down to the "bot" section on the left hand side you see a page named "Modules". Click it and there you have many modules available for use. You just need to flick the switch from Disabled to Enabled.

You can find it under Activity Feed Tab > To the right. It's called ground control. 😃 also has a dark mode. Be beware it's in early stages of development.

as for ground control, make sure to have redemptions checked in ground control. If you maximize it, you will see this

Yeah I know that already, I picked most of these up from nightbot, though I find kinda restraining and counter-intuitive when you have to chain-edit/add commands, plus they are some functions that you straight up cannot access unless you're the broadcaster like setting up timers or enable/disable several features and the likes. The only way to get around that for the time being is to either log in with the streamer's account or just get their lazy butt to do their job on their own lmao

The SE Sub Combo widget needs some work on it done i think. you can resize the bounding box in the editor but when you do it doesnt resize the image. it cuts it off. Also the slider to adjust the size of it only adjusts the size in the editor and does not reflect in browser source on OBS. Id like to be able to make it smaller and retain resolution as well as since i currently have 17 subs i cannot add them to the meter?
also having the editor open in chrome maxes out my cpu i just noticed lol maybe thats pc specific but i have a decently beast of a pc...

I've looked through the main stream tools out there and decided Stream Elements is the way to go. That's the good news. The bad or perhaps I should say, confusing news is that I have hit a brick wall how how actually make SE work in xsplit broadcaster. I have looked through the tutorials on YouTube and I am on info overload! I wish I could just pay someone a couple of bucks to hand-hold me through this part. Is that possible?

I was given a free premium membership on xsplit for 6 months, however, I would switch to OBS if you feel it is the better system
When I watch different tutorials on streaming, they seem to refer to OBS a lot more than xsplit. So I am wondering if I should switch?

Both of these alerts worked absolutely fine for me today, are you sure you have them enabled?

well, there is nothing we would be able to do from our end, it would be something you would have to change in your twitch settings. I can look into it from my end and see what I can find by playing with the settings on my channel, but thats about it

that might be something up with OBS and it not refreshing. You going to the editor and hitting save forces the cache to refresh

It could be that you've got a different resolution set for the overlay than what your monitor is, nothing new has been added that would cause that 🤔

When I use Google fonts, they show up in my browser but not in OBS. They are replaced with standard fonts. Also I don't think the "recent subscriber" is working for affiliates. This kind of limits my use of the service

I'm curious if there is a way I can set up a command like !salt for example that would be the equivalent of !kappagen but instead of random emotes it would spew PJSalt all over the screen. Any ideas?

nope, right resolution, 1920 1080, its the kappagen, the white line moves when i move the box
as for right now i've made kappagen slightly bigger on my canvas in obs to hide it, i've removed and added kappagen several times

I'm having trouble with the SE overlay. It keeps messing up the display for Capture Device. And help would be much appreciated. this issue is only with OBS classic. seems fine with OBS studio..
