Me again! lol Need some quick help, I used to use nighbot but want to convert everything with StreamElements, I had a <!hl> command it time stamped the stream and put it in a website. It was a custom api. This was the customapi link: $(urlfetch https://microbes.virusbot.xyz/api/v1/commands/highlights/create?channel=YOUR_CHANNEL&tag=$(query))
To setup the command through StreamElements I did ${customapi.https://microbes.virusbot.xyz/api/v1/commands/highlights/create?channel=ZLawheadPlays&tag=$(query)}
When doing this through Nightbot and you did !highlight in chat it would ask for a name for the highlight but this is just posts $(query) as the title. I tried to use ${args.word} and ${args} but none of those seemed to work.

Hi all! So i love Stream Elements and it has now pretty much replaced everything for me ๐ But i noticed for song request something happened. I set it up so that a playlist plays until people start requesting songs into the queue. Songs play so that works, the problem though is that if i put current song text on my overlay it shows as "no song currently playing" if its using the playlist and no songs are in queue

Hmm anyone can help? I'm trying to set up OBS since I wanna start streaming a bit, but stream's like really laggy, freezes like crazy, tried lower to 1k bitrates, stream's like really unclear and still has a bit of lag too. Tried different games, different settings. I'm using GTX 750%I with 3rd gen i5, settings are x265, 720p res and 3500 bitrates, 23 CFR, Rate control is CBR, 2 Keyframe Interval, ultra fast CPU usage.

@jaunty cedar the only downside of GPU encoding is that you have to put your bitrate very high to match the quality of CPU encoding, which is impossible on twitch because the max bitrate is capped at 6000kbps. Also your stream might look fine at first with GPU encoding, but after a few minutes of gameplay, you might experience some dropped frame as your GPU is heating up and using more and more resources

@frozen thistle as we said, the bug might be on twitch end. and it might be a display issue, we don't know yet if it's the bot that isn't collecting data to give points, or if it is and the displayed points are just wrong. Just because a bot has a downtime doesn't mean it's useless. if you can't connect to twitter for an hour, will you delete your account right away because it's useless?

because of that issue, the system has a difficult time handing out points. As for the sub bonus, it doesn't say the point values on your page (www.streamelements.com/nifsta). Them not receiving the bonus was fixed a few days ago (a week?) a quick resave of your loyalty settings should resolve it

@stiff minnow that could be multiple reasons. Is your overlay showing all corners of your screen in your broadcasting software? Which are you using?

To fix that, make sure you have your browser source settings (width and height) match what you have on the overlay editor (default is 1080p, so 1920x1080) then if your canvas is a different size, ctrl+f fits it to your canvas :)

Hi @atomic mortar twitch has been having issues where the viewer lists aren't visible and the bot can't tell who's in chat. You would have to manually assign points right now if you can't wait for twitch to get sorted. It may not be possible to !bonus all either because of the same issue (it would say successfully gave points to 0 viewers).

@winged condor This has happened before, to test if it is the actual overlay causing the proble, keep a browser window open with the overlay up (mute chrome in your volumn mixer). Then when it doesn't pop up, check if it is in the browser window. The reason it is showing up after you hit save is it forces a refresh of the page on OBS, thus making the widget show
