I have an old quotes api that I wrote for Nightbot, that I want to use with SE until an import feature is developed (because we have hundreds of quotes; not entering those manually :P), and the random aspect of it is dependent on the command responding to no input
I can target quotes by number, but if I try to get a random one (by providing no input and letting my script generate a random number), the command doesn't fire

For my issue is the calendar isn't working right on dashboard for stats like it shows 6/11/2017 even though it's JULY and it makes today's stats on the stat for a month behind I have already sent a email in but no response. Like at 7pm Texas time it flipped to the next calendar day. But still a month behinds even though stream wasn't over makes it hard to track things

Well, I kinda fubar'd. I didn't realize I had it on, so I deicded to reset it and give everyone a fresh start. However, I wanted to give the people who had already followed the channel the same amount of points, so I went and added their names and points, not realizing it would duplicate the names.
So that is why I was wondering if there was a way to basically do a hard reset and wipe everything.

Well first off I love it, thanks for adding it.
I found that many people participating ended up not knowing if it went through and then tried entering again, when they would get a message that they couldn't enter twice.
Many said they would like to get a whisper that they bought X amount so that they knew it went through. That could be a nice small addition.

Yes currently you can't enter multiple times but this is being worked on, a whisper could very well be a good idea because it wouldn't spam the chat with messages whenever somebody enters 😄

Well there's the option to add a sound as a store item, but as far as I can see it requires me to manually play it? I would love if the sound would go off randomly when someone purchases it, cus then people "pay" for the element of surprise and the possibility of scaring/surprising me.

And last thing I have is I cannot get the built-in songrequest to work with it costing points. I think I set everything right, but the songrequest just goes through and no point cost seems to be paid by the requester.

A person in chat redeemed an item from the store with '!redeem item' and it took his points; removed the item from the store; but it didn't show up in my dashboard feed or put up a notification for it. It has worked in the past, but just recently items being redeemed from my store haven't been putting up notifications or displaying in my dashboard

So I removed the widget and re-added it, and I still have the same issues. I tried purchasing items from the store using the profile page as well. Interesting thing is that I can see the notification on my Overlay Editor pop up, but not on my actual overlay

ok I'm confused. I thought duplicate overlay created a seperate copy of the layers but it was it's own overlay with it's own browser source URL. But I'm trying to add two different overlays to two different OBS scenes and they are showing the same overlay
The url links are different but every time I change one in OBS it duplicates it to the other scene
I just wanted to use some of the layers from one overlay on the other without having the remake the whole thing

@nimble lynx you can't, but the bitcup is more of a placeholder, a new one is being worked on. The Sub Goal can be resized using the combo on the settings panel on the left

@silk patrol unfortunately the overlay disappear at the end of the "How many minutes do viewers have to bet?" time.
it is supposed to stay visible on streaming until I actually pick a winner not at the end of the timer

@manic granite The overlay disappears after however long you set the overlay to show for, doesn't mean that it's ended, just the overlay doesn't stay up forever

Currently that's not how it works, it shows for a maximum of a minute and then hides, I admit I was surprised too, but that's how it is currently

ie. I create a bet > I set the timer to 3 minutes > people have 3 minutes to place their bets > timer ends > bets closed > overlay is visible on the streaming as long as I pick the winner of the bet
people love to see what's the status of that bet and it's also good for new people coming into the chat that see there is a funny gambling system in place
at this moment it's completely useless

it's not confusing at all. revlo had this exact feature and it was perfect

@manic granite Nobody said it will never be added. We just said that there is more important stuff in the pipeline, like for example access to the dashboard for super mods. Once all the big things have been sorted out, devs will have time to add that

The dashboard will show you that it can join, that's enough information to know that it's left

So it would be better to just disable the minigames modules overnight than to rob people of their rewards if they support the stream overnight 😃

It's an unusual request, generally people like an active channel, most people wouldn't purposefully try to kill all activity after the stream ends 🤔

and the streamer decided it is unfair to let these people get all the rewards

They have to gamble seeing that's the only way to gain points (but mostly loose). The bot won't track loyalty when the stream is offline
