Just started using it on last night's stream, I have it set up as: Monthly top donation: {name} - {currency}{amount}
However it is showing the top OVERALL donor's name followed by the largest donation so far, which was actually donated by a different viewer..

Yes I can see it is, but something isn't right as the top donor gave $6.45 + $5.00 ($11.45) last night but in that page it is showing that he gave $11.41.. Which coincidentally is the same as the largest donation of the night which was actually given by a different viewer..

@golden stump you can build a playlist on youtube, and set it in the backup playlist slot in the settings https://streamelements.com/dashboard/songrequest/settings. It will hold up to 200 songs. When someone requests a song, it will stop the backup playlist and play the requested song.

I assume you have the "shutdown when not visible" checkbox ticked (which you should if you use the alert box), then it refreshes the browsersource, that's why the event list resets

a workaround I use : I have one overlay for all my images and text stuff (last tip, laft follow, etc) and another overlay for my alertbox. I only shutdown my "alert" overlay when not visible and not my "design" overlay. this way it won't lose all the events

I have been ahaving some issues with the cup and the alerts. During my last stream the cup has been very odd. Bits staying in mid air and the for some alerts when the explosion goes off not a sigle bit travelling to the cup. when somone donates 1000 bits this can be disconcerting.
Also i had several Host alerts not ping, a bit alert of two hundresd bits and a subscriber alert. They appeared in my Rescent events but not on stream. I reset the Bot, nothing. Tried to repaeat the events, nothing. Can you help?

we don't have a way to ignore inactive chatters, but that's a good idea for a feature request

@cinder ibex song requests only works with youtube, last.dj and dubtrack.fm right now. user lvls can be set on the user management page (https://streamelements.com/dashboard/bot/users/moderators) or in chat using !level <username> <level> (100 for viewers, 250 for subs, 300 for regulars, 500 for mods and 1000 for super mods). when you set a command to a user lvl, it accessible for that user lvl and the ones above it (so regulars commands can be used by regulars as well as mods and super mods)
@lament blade I don't understand what you are trying to do. do you want to fire commands from a timer ? if that's so, then you can't. the bot won't acknoledge commands sended by itself. there is also a 1 minute delay between timers to avoid chat flooding

Not sure if anyone wonders, but I found the reason why StreamElements is such a resource hog for me: https://github.com/kc5nra/obs-browser/issues/78
Basically, OBS browser does not use GPU for rendering, so everything runs on CPU
But the guys over at ChromiumEmbedded is working on a potential fix in the future

Another odd issue - in studio mode in OBS,if I have 2 different scenes side by side that have the SE overlay, alerts will play twice and not in sync. With StreamLabs, the alerts only play once in one side (wish I could explain it)

it might be because it is loading two seperate overlays. one thing I am going to try tonight is to have my alert box alone in a seperate overlay, and everything else on another overlay. It is getting away from the one overlay for everything, but it will make it so I only hear the alert once, and it should really do the alert at the same time across all scenes

Can someone explain the Follower Goal widget? If I put in a number of say 10. It shows something like 29/10 if I put 100 it shows 29/100. Is there something in the config i'm missing? Where is the 29 being set?

@cinder ibex It was enable, but we had to diasble it because of the way youtube handle researches. basically, youtube gives a company a certain amount of "points" for searches throught the api. using a link uses less points than a keywords search. we are talking with youtube to get more points so we can enable that again
@ancient wigeon You have to tick the checkbox called "shutdown when not visible" on your browsersource, it's at the bottom of the browsersource properties. we might ask OBS to do that by default

Alright so the Overlay widgets via Editor for Follower Goals and Subscriber goals are based on "sessions" @clear shell and they do not track live stats. They are made by counters that only know how to go up in number.
You need to edit these numbers to properly show how many subscribers you currently have. When you get a new subscriber the number will go up.

Sound clips redemptions won't show on the stream from my experience, they'll just play the sound, but stream perk redemptions will show on the stream
