Giving points transfers points from one to another. And that's mods on SE, not twitch. Mods can be added in under User management bottom left of SE dashboard. Or use a !level command (https://streamelements.com/dashboard/bot/commands/default has a list).

Hello, I'm new at StreamElements. I'm setting up my stream store and my overlay. Unfortunatly when I try to redeem something, the sound plays on my overlay but nothing shows up in xsplit. What is strange is that the animation spawns in the overlay editor but not on Xsplit, AND if I emulate a redeem, this one pops up in xsplit. Do you know where it could come from ? Thanks !

Added sound effect redemptions to my store. In order to display the notification of the redemption (as well as the sound effect) Do I need to set up the alert via the overlay feature, then use that code in OBS as a web source?

@inner flint 2 things for that. Make sure that you have your OBS browser source width and height to match what you have the overlay at (default overlay is 1920x1080, obs default is 800x600). Second, are you using stream perk or sound effect

@upbeat tree A browser source as the name implies is an instance of a browser. Even tho all the calculation and firing of event are done on SE servers, your browser source still need to parse HTML, CSS and Javascript. I can't all be on SE side
when you are surfing the web (liking a post on facebook, reading a tweet, etc), your browser uses CPU, even tho you are watching a webpage that is hosted somewhere else
Knowing OBS and SE doesn't do it all, you need to know how browsers works to understand that happy mess ๐

@lament blade @tight harness if you are just looking for a counter command, you could do: "Galford has somehow managed to die ${count} times. Seriously?" this command, when run, will increment by 1 each time it is called. I would recommend putting a cooldown of around 5-10 seconds so that multiple calls at once won't incrememnt it extra, along with making it mod and up only (users could troll the command). To reset, delete and replace the command. Best workaround I have so far.
