I have actually two problem both dealing directly with the steam elements store.

- when someone redeems an items with my currency it doesn't go into redeem history.
- when somone redeems an item the alerts do not show up correctly. the sound redeems show up but not the alert window. I played around with it yesterday night and i think the problem is the alert image isn't in the alert frame. I got it once to show up but it was only the left side of the alert image, everything else was cut off.
so can we start with one?
i assumed the redeem history tracked everything anyone bought in the store correct?

@left jolt your redemption page will store items indefinitely that folks redeem, until you either accept or deny the item. If you accept it, it will move to the history page ๐ if you deny it it will be deleted.

just to be clear @left jolt you only can add one alert for the store redemptions alert - but one alert for that is all you need. The other alerts will be a separate alerts box, and you can adjust the various images and options per host alerts, tips alerts, follower alerts, etc

@lone bridge i uploaded as one of my redeemable items to be a sound but its hella loud. I turned down the sound of the alert in my store and also in my overlay but the sound doesn't change when the item is redeemed in my test

my sound in my alert is at 1 and its still the same x.X

I'm thinking it could just be that one scene as no one else has reported the issue as of yet. Pretty stange though.
Just make a new overlay preset, paste some text or something in there and try that after saving.

or it may not appear in OBS but it'll work once you do a test stream is sometimes the case

you just have to have the browser source active on your streaming software. I use OBS. you put in the link, and make sure you match the dimentions of what you set everything at (1280x720 or 1920x1080 or some custom number). then as long as you set it up in the overlay, it all shows through the streaming software. you do not have to have the page open for the alert to pop, but I suggest having the activity feed up on one screen so you can see easily who followed or tipped and any message they left with it ๐

GameWisp was only released into beta last week. I'm unsure where we are with updates so I have to get back to you later. For now it's only through commands. But I think I have a workaround for you; make your GW users 'regulars' and use that tier for GW subs only.

hello! I have a question - I'm merging my ankhbot and revlo into stream elements and I have almost everything in there except for one thing... my shoutout command. I can't seem to get the command set up correctly so it shouts out the target instead of the user. how can I do this?
I'm not getting an error message - it's just putting in the user's information instead of the target

I think that @timid yacht's issue could stem from either not hitting the save button, or a browser, the only way to know is to test it in a different source, so I suggest the streaming software he/she uses

Regarding browser support: obs uses chrome for the clr so most of the things are optimized for google chrome.

In the Overlay editor. When changing Alert settings, why am I able to make alert variations for my subscribers, but not my followers.
I can make variations for everything except hosts and follows, the two things I get the most of. and honestly would like to hear differen things then just the same old plain sound.

@upbeat tree you can change the default sound by anyone you like. Variations are triggered by conditions, for instance if someone subbed for 3 months, or 6 months etc. Since you can only be followed once, variations doesn't make sense here ^^

For follows it would be nice to have random notifications. So sometimes it plays one thing and other times it will play something else
