You are using "Less" as CSS pre-processor. That will allow you to add some features which are not available on pure CSS (i.e.: use of //, CSS nesting, .font-face() ). Unfortunately, CSS pre-processor is not available on SE Overlay Editor

You would need to convert your CSS part to pure CSS (removing the nesting, changing comments from // to /* */ and work on the .font-face())

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

I did a search here about there's an issue when changing the game to Minecraft using !setgame command, it changes to Minicraft and found the solution that you need to put <> in the game name (!setgame <Minecraft>) which works...

Now there's a similar issue to Outlast, regardless of using "" (quotes) or <> (less than and greater than) symbols, it still changes to Outlast II. Is there a possible fix for this?

They get the name and email address associated with the paypal account. If you're worried about doxxing, set up a business account that has a business email and a business name.

now... is there a way to show my subscriber emotes at the end of the message for example when someone follows me?
this is what I mean: "Thank you for following {user}! " ( is an emote on my channel)
I tried it, but when someone followed me, it just didn't show the emote on in the chat, just the text

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

If you are using the total follower/total subscriber widget, reset your session from the Activity Feed to fetch updated data from twitch. If you’re using goal widgets, you can edit the progress of any goal by going to Activity Feed > Widget Data > Goals. This can also be found in the Overlay Editor by selecting DATA (next to WIDGETS) > Goals.

Did you change the variations? To check this, go to your overlay editor, navigate to the Alertbox layer > Alerts (sub, tips, cheer, etc) > Variation settings at the bottom.
You'll need to adjust each individual variant as they are not changed by default.

I would like to create a !ban username command that would return "username has been banned x times." So I am trying to get the username passed as a variable part of the counter name (I guess?). There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Hello! I have looked almost everywhere online for this but I suppose I may be doing something incorrect. I am attempting to add latest follower/subscriber/donator text boxes to my overlay, but the follower and subscriber ones refuse to set to dynamic font size and will instead align to the right no matter what I try to do. It seems that the donator one is fine, but I am so confused on how to fix the other two. Even the alignment buttons refuse to work on some.

Hey everyone! Hope you all are having comfy day! 😄 I am a newbie streamer and I have been using SE.Live for a while. It's working great but I am concerned about bitrate spikes. Here's some info. I encode my 1080p input to 720p output. I stream at 720p 60 fps so I want constant 4500 bps. However, my bitrate is always spiking from 4800 to even 5200 sometimes. I think that would cause some issues with my stream. I use manual settings with CBR as per Twitch guidelines. I have also unchecked the dynamic bitrate option which you use when you have bad internet connection I think. Can someone please help me understand why am I not getting a constant bitrate around 4500 bps? Thank you very much.

I think if you make a command and in the command text you will put: /commercial {1}, it should work, just remember to put 30/60/90/120 while triggering it. >> !commercial 30. However I kinda do not undarstand why do you want to have the Twitch prebuilt command in the bot command if it works the same way.

May be an issue of having too many things overloading the encoder. I would look for OBS alert messages, or check the logs with their analyzer to see if there's an exact issue noted

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Thank you for your response. During the holiday break my wife was received a “sponsorship” offer through StreamElements for HelloFresh that expired in 5 days. On the Help Site there is a form to request a reactivation of that sponsorship offer. She filled the form, submitted it and instantly got denied. As this was the first sponsorship offer she received, this came off as incredibly demoralizing and a 5 day expiration during a period in which most people are visiting family for the holidays seems unusually strict.

In the end we both just asked each other, why should we keep using StreamElements? There are alternatives that we are now seriously considering.

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

Hello I have a problem with SE media request. I turned on the viewer request on and set the request price to 0 but someone inputs !sr and a youtube link in the tchat nothing happens. Streamelements doesn't reply and the song is not added to the playlist. S.E is a mod on my channel and i dont understand what i am doing wrong. The only thing i know is that the !songrequest command in the global comment page is always turned off no matter how many times i try turning it on it will always toggle off if i leave the page and comeback. It also ask me to enable an other module all the time. Do you have an idea what prevents SR from working here? Thanks!

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

Hi all! Just a quick question about making commands directly in the twitch chat text box. Is it possible to make a command without an exclamation mark? I wanted to have one that counts the number of times someone has typed something like "nt" or "glhf". I've seen it done on nightbot but wasn't sure if it could be done elsewhere. I did that already in talking to OBS directly

I think so

I am not 100% sure what was stock and not as it has been a long time since I set it up

what seems broken and crashing is the display and window capture and especially trying to bring up their properties window

I have 1 window capture that is working fine

but all others seem broken

but were strangely working before when other things were causing the crashing

There may be a plugin that is not compatible or out-dated that is conflicting with your SE.live. qt6widgets.dll is the reason that it keeps crashing and this is normally related to other plugins besides SE.Live. Double check your plugins and make sure that they are properly set up
