the fact we cant get any way to get a better idea of what a campaign wants from us before we actually accept it is kinda BS if you ask me. I accepted the Factor75 campaign I was offered because its a product and brand I know, use and trust, but until I click "accept" on the campaign and start going thru the campaign brief. I had no idea they wanted to occupy a panel below my stream for 2 weeks AFTER the sponsored week. that's 3 weeks of advertisement, More than the 7 days I was told about before I clicked accept and I'm assuming the last 14 days they want my panel on twitch with the link attached I wont get any return from new signups then either even if they used my link.

I like the product. a lot and that's why I'm willing to still do it. its a product and service I can recommend in good faith. but this type of "hidden addition" makes me very weary of accepting other sponsors in the future. if stream elements wants to continue to be a resource for creators then the way they do that in my opinion needs to be more transparent. if metaphorical company (x) that I wasn't 100% sure of but i was willing to look into and accept pulled this I'd seriously consider not working with either stream elements or company (X) again.

I know doing the sponsor isn't required after you click "accept" but I'm sure a "completed" page filled with sponsors that say "goals not achieved" next to them isn't exactly good for your chances of getting sponsors in the future. but if that's the only way to get the required information you need to make an informed decision on whether you as a brand are going to actually take the sponsor spot that's only doing the creators stream elements wants to help a disservice.

Hello all! I'm trying to set my custom chatbot up through SE Live. I've followed all the directions: everything is set up, I have the other account created and linked, but it isn't coming through on a test. The custom bot simply isn't working when I have everything set up; where am I going wrong? It's a moderator and they are exempt from all chat settings, so chat settings aren't a problem, and I can't find anything online about this problem. Once again asking; I am having some sort of intrusive audio ad play through my OBS the last few days. It started after I clicked a button on the SELive Activity Feed widget that advertised SE Ran sponsorships, back on Thursday night.
I have turned widgets/docks off/back on.
I have restarted PC.
I have restarted OBS multiple times.
I have relogged into SELive.
I have reinstalled SELive this morning (Which apparently does not log you out of SELive's extension) but have not yet streamed as I am nervous of having it happen yet again.

I know it is coming from StreamElements, as when I mute the same "obs-browser-source.exe" audio source in my windows volume mixer that the 'ad' is located as coming from, all of my alerts are also muted. I have received no responses on SELive channel, and am becoming increasingly frustrated and anxious to stream using SE software/assets. I don't appreciate ads blaring on my stream without my approval or say so through SE assets. There are no other active non-SE assets on my scene when it happened again on Saturday morning and evening.

If you are not seeing the OBS Twitch integrations and have SE.Live installed, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of SE.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start SE.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

When someone gifts more than 10 subs to the community, the bot replies to every subscribed chatter causing a lot of spamming in chat. It would be cleaner to send an alert only once to the gifter. Is there a way to just have 1 alert now rather then a machine gun of 10 or so?

Hey folks. I have an alertbox imported from Streamlabs. Most things work perfectly but I noticed that my gift subscription alert somehow shows a double message - the gift sub was not from an anonymous source but I saw both messages, one after the other.

When looking at the variations, the red box seems to indicate the alert is triggered when gift is anonymous but the subsequent message shows that the gifter is known.

AFAIK I don't have another overlay and I don't know how to figure out the right condition mismatch.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Hello, I am suffering from a very big bug error and it is driving me crazy.

When I create an alert overlay, I put the link in OBS, and execute an action in twich to activate the alert.

The overlay doesn't show the alerts...

But if I go to my streamelements / security account and reset the token, then the alerts are shown (but of course temporarily... as soon as I close obs and reopen, I have to put the new overlay url again, and they stop showing ... )

I create a new overlay. and the URL to insert in obs is generated.

But it does not work..

I go to my streamelements profile / security and restore token

so now the overlay has a new URL !!

The previous url that should no longer exist, if it shows the overlay...

Unfortunately I can't use the old url because when I insert it in obs it asks me to insert the new url.

so my overlays show up on old urls and not on current ones!

You don't need to reset token, forget that part.
Try to do a logout/login and check if you can emulate the alerts on Overlay editor.

By the way, you said you receive any notification to insert a new URL? Where exactly does it say that?

Any, or multiple of them can happen. The risk you're willing to assume is up to you. It's been a while since I looked, but I believe they can sue for up to $250k USD per instance/song.

3. Stop your stream/recording.

But keep "Layer B" "Layer C" and so on to still be 100%

What's up yall. I am having an issue and can't find a fix anywhere so hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have SE set up with alerts for youtube and Twitch Simultaneously through obs studio. Sometimes alerts work great sometimes they don't work at all. Most the time I will get a few from both then it will stop giving me alerts on stream altogether. I have reset this up many times and tried a few different configuration. Having it work as explained above is the best I can get. Any advice on where I can find info to help me fix this?

Hello, I have a problem and namely I have long implemented SE on Twitch and am very satisfied but somehow the Watchtimer does not work. when I go to the page on the chat statistics I get a 404 error that the page does not exist and on twitch at the Watchtime command is simply 0 as time there. The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

So, i think the problem would not be in the browser, but with the SElive, because in the browser, i can login and it shows the alerts. But in SElive on OBS, it doesn't make the login and only shows the message error: Network error.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

so I had to convert all my images, even the ones that dont move, to gif

I have absolutely NO audio on recordings or streams through OBS. I dont know what I did wrong, Ive uninstalled OBS and reinstalled it, having completely done away with all of my settings, including all of my sources, scenes and profiles, in a now failed attempt to fix it.

I dont know if theres anyone who can help, but I'm REALLY sad.

Our youtube channel was about to hit 1k subs, and now that I cant record or stream, theres no way to celebrate it if it happens.
And I move in 3 months, and I wanted a backlog of recordings/streams to edit, in case I cant use my desktop/game for 3-6 months at an inbetween home.

I know it's a stretch, but I dont know where else to turn at this point.

More than likely your accounts need to be merged! - Please note:

• Merging accounts allows for faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Hey i have a little problem, i set up alerts for points for my viewers in stream store is there a way to put a global cooldown on all alerts? For example if person A buy alert person B have to wait few minutes before buying anything

@latent plinth i figured that could be the case, and we have a subathon timer that shows/reacts to subs/bits/donos and so on, but those are more like a countdown and don't show the total amount of time the subathon has been live, and i figured if it were possible to have one that shows totaltime live so to speak

so my stream elements keeps dipping its' bitrate down to the hundreds and sometimes it just completely freezes entirely and no longer responds even if i wait on the program to correct itself.

I mean, obviously running four browsers, this is a minor issue to me, and I don't need support, as much as I'm reporting a bug, but this is as close as I could get to what I think the bug tracker is. My limited troubleshooting leads me to believe this is some minor problem with some over-developed piece of the front-end/back-end interface.
