While it was working just recently, like a day ago, Steam has suddenly stopped working. I have tried to restart the computer, uninstall steam, reinstall, reset, run without graphics acceleration. When I run from the terminal it looks like the image. ..... Really hoping you guys can help. Another server already turned me away. xD
#Steam refusing to open.

uhhh so are your driver stuff for gpu up to date and correct
AFAIK
run this rq steam 2>&1 | tee steam_crash.log
No window pops up
When I run on KDE instead of Hypr, it opens on the taskbar for a bit, seeming like it is loading or something. And then closes. But no window pops up.
run it with this STEAM_DEBUG=1 ~/.local/share/Steam/steam.sh
So it does SOMETHING
might shiw something in a file which is believe is in uhh
~/.local/share/Steam/logs/bootstrap_log.txt
Woah. Lots popped up with the debug.
can you show what popped up
can you kill all steam processes
killall -9 steam steam.sh steamwebhelper with that i think
ok
soooo oh yeah
try deleting the runtime stuff and reinstalling steam again
rm -rf ~/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steam-runtime
also where did you install steam from flatpak for aur
can you use a aur helper like yay or paru to get it
oh wait
try steam-native it already be there
uhh
el solution could just be wiping everything steam related
if you want to do that
this kills the steam processes killall -9 steam 2>/dev/null
this deletes everything steam related rm -rf ~/.local/share/Steam ~/.steam
and try just reinstalling everything
yeah
do you have flatpak steam installed?
does it work
THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK you.
Do we know what happened?
Or is it just be glad it works?
Fair enough. xD
