Hey, I need some help. I'm using Zorin Linux and I always connect an external drive named 'Dysk 1TB' (formatted as exFAT). A while back, I tried to do something with this drive in the terminal and something went wrong. Now, whenever I mount it, it shows up as 'Dysk 1TB1'. ChatGPT gave me a solution to unmount the drive and run:
sudo rm -rf "/media/krystian/Dysk 1TB"
sudo rm -rf "/media/krystian/Dysk 1TB1"
and then reconnect the drive. It worked, but it wasn't very convenient. Every time I reboot my laptop, the name changes back to 'Dysk 1TB1'. I kept using this method for a while, but yesterday, I forgot to unmount it first and some data got deleted, about 350GB. When I realized my mistake, I unplugged the cable. However, the properties show the space is still occupied and there's very little free space left. Restarting the computer or re-plugging the drive doesn't change anything. Chat gave me some commands to paste, but they didn't really do anything. I know these files can be recovered because PhotoRec found some of them, but I don't necessarily care about the recovery itself because it changes the filenames, and I don't have enough space on my laptop's drive. So, I basically have two problems: the wrong name and the storage space issue. The name is important because it mostly contains torrents, and qBittorrent goes crazy when it changes. Also I believe that Dysk 1TB might be stored in laptop's hard drive. There is only one empty folder in there named Torrenty. Can someone help? I've been trying to solve this for hours with no luck. Let me know if you need any details or if you want me to run any commands for info.
