you could also go with alpine, and some minimal window manager f.e. dwm, if you want to game with it wayland is probably better so something like dwl or mangowc, and if you want an whole de you sadly need to go with x11 by using xfce or lxqt (lxde is also an option but i cannot it recommend these days)
also in the world of debian decendents antix would also be a practicle solution
ofc gentoo or netbsd but the install could get longer than 12h depending on ur knowledge
