Are you sure you measured from B2 5:5
Looks like you are short by around 400m which is roughly the width of the base of the iron nest model is it possible you where measuring from the side of the base not the point of the tip on the bottom?

looks to me like the elevation of the gun is set to 35.58 not 38.58, 3 degrees shy of the firing solution, would that give you the 400m range error?

tested myself loading each gun with the same number of charges setting one gun to 35.58 and the other to 38.58 and it gave me both the exact same ranges they shot and they had gotten from the firing solution. In my personal opinion I believe this to be a case of misreading the elevation and range dials.
