Is it me or is FNB always with high > multipliers? If it's on the "reserved" side, it's just class locked. Why don't I see very moderate multipliers or even < modifiers such as < 100% multipliers? Do people only want their bullets and movespeed to go faster? I find there's value in slower values too. It can change the approach on how you play and approach battles maybe even more so.

Is it just that one flavor of adjustment is pushed on us? Or is it genuinely the only thing people are interested in? If the former, it's excluding anyone trying to make experiences counter to the mainstream.

no, they disallow pretty much every attempt at building external communities or directing people to third-party sites. i run a niche BF6 collector's Discord and I've had to build the community exclusively via dm's on Reddit to people who have expressed interest in collecting/completionism/promo skins. if you post an external link like a Discord server, automod will just nuke it. my server now has 650 members but it basically feels like a full-time job trying to spread the word.

I got to say, I've always dipped my toe to play some hardcore in every BF title and always enjoyed it.
Last week though, when hardcore was added as an official playlist.... it was some of the most fun i've have in 2042. Have all the portal maps with their respective era of soldiers/armies and the old class system shined. Incentivising even more to have a squad of different classes as having each role work together as they all served more of a purpose. Was very refreshing.
And when it came around in the rotation of maps to 2042, I found myself really enjoying the unforgiving ttk in the vehicles. Especially in the aircraft. Even though you are only 1 shot from dying..... damn it was great once you understand good positioning around the battlefield.
I got to say, I enjoy the game more without a minimap.... it rewards more aware players... but it also allows the game to flow more.... flanks are more possible... even though more cover to more around is desirable.
Hope that hardcore mode comes back for a while longer.
I could praise it for so many more reasons.

@vapid ridge next time.... try the M5A3 with a suppressor, subsonic ammo, x3 scope and single fire. You will have a blast picking off enemies that won't know where to look to return fire as there is no tracer.... they won't know where to jump to cover... and your pot shots won't get you spotted by anyone else in the area... esp helicopters. (I have the most hilarious clips of this)

I'm saying it now, hardcore gives everything gadget and equipment wise, more purpose and depth to the game.

and ofc, switch back to the full auto with a red dot to move about.... really fun to pto on manifest in the dard tree area the A flags and then push down to B flags

For bad company two weapons, they feel sluggish on pc. Where something like an ak74u should hit almost instantly, I find that the bullets tend to lag behind unrealistically on a moving target causing misses and hit still targets too delayed. Idk if it's fire rate, I would assume it's to do with the actual speed of the bullet. Basically, I either have to lead super far in front of the target or if they suddenly stop, it feels like a sniper rn. If it helps on on pc with a 3070ti so it's not any form of lag based on not having a powerful enough pc. Best of luck!
