No I couldn't. The maps colors and designs did not fit with the war setting at all in my opinion. The colors were too saturated, everything looked so pretty. It conflicted heavily with the war theme. There's a reason BF1s color palette stuck to greys and blues. It fits the period better.

The more saturated the colors are, the more peaceful and natural things look. The art direction in BFV was a big downgrade imo.

I disagree with the first part. Especially with the first war story, that did a really good job at setting the tone of the game imo. The constant explosions, screams, etc. All of it felt so real. The voice acting, the colors, atomsphere, etc. It's the most immersive BF to date in my opinion.

But it mainly is art direction. They used prototype weapons, but none of those took you out of the experience. Saturated colors with huge amounts of color, while in a war setting do. The equipment in BFV is fairly immersive to me as well. I'm criticizing BFVs art direction. Not it's gameplay.
