Yeah at 60-70fps with FSR Quality 1080p probably. GPU is a bit old but BF6 is not GPU intensive like that. CPU won’t be able to squeeze more than 70 though

Changes to player counts on Breakthrough

Don't think it will let me link here but when you go into loadouts and vehicles, you can just click the vehicle and then click the little box up near the image of the vehicle and there are skins and decals. Skins are divided into skins and camos

They made the guns a lot more difficult to use. 2042 has far less recoil and spread. It's not necessarily a bad thing but the skill ceiling in 6 is now much higher than 2042s imo

I would rather have nice skins and cool gadgets than everybody having the same skin and not being able to customize anything (it even has limited modifications meaning you cant use everything you unlock) and there are no reskins for weapons or skins you can just unlock by getting kills

I've got 28 hours lol, but yeah, 2042 is better paced imo. I played a lot of 2042 in the runup to BF6 launch to unlock the BF6 cosmetics, and the TTK in BF6 is wayyyyyyyyyyy too fast. Most guns will kill you in a second flat. I preferred the TTK in 2042 for sure

Trivia for BF6: Bullets do not align with the sights to target anymore. They start at barrel, then angle up to sights at about 1-3m distance. Not much, but with this in mind, BF6 guns can get blocked by cover if too close, and if you are too close to a target, you may or will not get headshots without aiming up a little more.

This is less lenient than prior BF titles, but more lenient than, say, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam.

BF6 Pistols may not have this issue as much, but will still require leading or actively controlling sway to stay on target much more than in the past.

It's not a bad game, it just plays very differently from 2042 and takes some time to adjust to. I can do pretty well now, but it took me a solid day of playing it to adjust. It doesn't feel like the beta did.

i find 2042 fun... 2042 is less of a battlefield game than 6 is though. 6 is basically if they took 4 and 5 threw it in a blender and then added a tiny bit of 2042 to it. as for the maps, some of the conquest large BF6 maps are closer to the scale of older BF games like BF4 but they probably feel smaller just cause 6 as way more CQB areas and everything is densely packed

Today we've rolled out a few backend changes across our servers, which should now be live across all platforms. The changes are as follows:

◼️Increased ticket count for some maps on the Rush game mode to the intended amount of 100 (up from 75).
◼️Reduced the muzzle velocity of the M2010 ESR from 900 to 800 m/s

Recharge is slightly longer, there's a short window where you can lock on to them after the flares end. You just have to keep locking on. Unfortunately the pilots know this too and run away from AA range to recharge flares.

I much prefer the gunplay in 2042. The bloom on BF6 is ruining it. Even tap firing I can see the bullets of my LMG going left right up down and anywhere but where my red dot is. Now I’ve gotten over how good BF6 looks and sounds I’ve actually turned the game off.

I agree, it still feels like battlefield we just need some bigger maps. I want kharg island and gulf of oman. Metro would be great in this game too. Grand Bazaar wouls fit this game also

While I do agree that getting some more old maps would be pretty cool, I really want to get some new fresh maps that have that really nice battlefield feel. I think the best map from 2042 is reclaimed, and it actually has a similar aesthetic to what is in BF 6. It's nice and wide, yet it also has many dense sections within it for battles, but it never feels too compact or too linear for its own good.

I really like Haven as well, but BF6 kinda feels like it leaned too much on that kind of map design, though in many places they did do it even better.

Hey I just got 18300 vehicle damage in a game having killed about 12 vehicles. The damage is equivalent to the health of 18 tanks. I also went 30/9/7 and defended a lot of objectives. However even though I was like 4th on my team in kills alone and had such absurd vehicle kills, I was 20th on my team on the score board.

Don't get me wrong I love how much more playing the objective counts towards score than kills in comparison to e.g. BF1 but there needs to be substantial score awarded for game impacting things like killing enemy vehicles that which can really hold back the enemy from ever even capturing points.

2042 has better gunplay, better maps, better match pacing, had 64v64, it looks better, runs better, has less bugs, had better gadgets and better class balacning even with the specialists, and also had proper map events with the weather stuff. And all of those aside of the bugs were there at launch too

BF6 is the current hype train but 2042 was and is a better by a mile, they really need to work a lot on 6 to make it proper good.

People are just hyping 6 up because of the youtube grifter trend that decided what matters is marketing that makes fun of things and edgy military trailers and not that the game is actually well made.

This game needs an absurd amount of work to be as good as 2042 was, and it will still pale in comparison to Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 3.

It is the dark, twisted version of BC2. Because the engine at that time was being used to develop both 2042 and a BC3 pitch, but BC3 got canned again.

It's probably the lack of as much or noticeable inertial/momentum delay compared to BF6. Even if tac sprint isn't considered.

For BF6, weapon handling and movements now have mechanics to reduce the ease of snapping on to targets. Immersive, but not as quick in feedback.

It began with the map layout density being urban streets. Then Mirak Valley showed up to give them the larger space they craved, only for it to be a letdown, too.

They especially compared Iberian Peninsula/Gibraltar to COD given how tight it was. Siege of Cairo comparisons depended on mood a little bit more.

The Battlefield veterans you speak of probably came from BF4 or BF1 in mindset the most.

While more easily ignored, BF6 still makes use of operators as characters within team sub-factions. Used for skins and some voice line differences.

They just have character-specific gadgets and passive perks removed or folded into the classes.

Previously, many rounds were hitting the time limit instead of ending when one team ran out of tickets. We'll keep monitoring feedback and data to make sure the flow of each match feels right.

Well, in case your not:

I didn’t say the game needed realism, but BF has always have more grounded movement compared to COD but not as real as a mil sim. BF should stick with its identity to movement and keep it a nice in between.

Hopping around a corner is not realistic, but it’s a game and restricting that makes it sluggish.

But the other has someone traveling at the speed of a car.

This game isn’t meant to be sweaty and there isn’t a comp scene because the devs haven’t supported one, the lobby sizes are too big for an esports scene anyways.

So good KD, playing OBJ, and I get tons of revives and my stack consistently get top squad, so not casuals by ur vague definition of high skill level

Bruh the only broken movement in bf6 was the edge slide boost in beta, everything else was perfect
I would say it was the best movement out of all bf games excluding bf4 because bf4 has the best movement due to glitches
