Mine is constant and can't seem to fix it. Menu's lag, or at least the character on screen stutters about, the map overview stutters and gameplay is unplayable at all times. I have around 25 to 29ms ping most of the time, running at 130 to 170fps depending on map but it's just unplayable right now. Repaired the game, reinstalled GPU drivers but nothing. Cyberpunk and Far Cry 6 are like butter, but Battlefield is just a mess

Update: I seemed to have fixed the stuttering by going to the game file install location, opening EA Anti Cheat folder and running the tool, then repairing, then updating the anti-cheat.

For me C:/ Program Files/ EA Games/ Battlefield 2042/ EAAntiCheat - then running the Installer.Tool

Only putting it here in case it fixes the issue for someone else.

Kinda, ps4 is old Gen and ps5 is new Gen. New Gen has crossplay with PC and console. Old Gen has crossplay with Xbox and Playstation only. I play both versions old on my console and new Gen on my PC.
But when I'm on old Gen it just takes longer to find a match. Dice kinda neglects the old Gen game. Lobby queuing is bad sometimes on old Gen.

I was playing, had a really high KDR but the game crashed

My 7900XTX crashed , timed out, I did a automatic overclock on it and I don't know why but on AMD when I put the fan to 100% after overclocking the check mark on the overclock goes away so I don't put the fan to 100% and my GPU is 60-65c in game and hot spot Temp ranges from 80-101c , maybe thats why it crashed, I submitted a bug report for AMD to fix this

i think spearhead could be a little wider as you approach c, but flashpoint kinda does that so its all good. c though on flashpoint is totally exposed as opposed to the boxes on spearhead. but frankly i need variety. i can understand why some might prefer spearhead, i really like it mixed up. I generally haven't met a map I don't enjoy, unless its massively unbalanced and none of these seem to be to me, even before the revisions

the only way i can consistently get into FRESH non started rounnds is by finishing the one that is halfway done - then spamming space bar to continue to mainn menu once it ends (and SUPER IMPORTANT:) do NOT cancel the automatic searching or "exit to the main menu" let it do its thing and 99.9875% of the time you will load into a match that still has the "xx/xx players, match starts in xx..."

We're aware of the reported interactions between the DRFM and Stealth Cloaking on the Draugr, where it pulls players out of stealth and allows for a lock-on.

This is unintended and will be fixed in the next game update.

Depends on the squad and pilot. They are each better in different scenarios

Condor can ceiling faster, getting above other helis for example. It can also get away from subsequent locks-ons more effectively.

I do tend to prefer the Hind also, probably because it has more consistent performance.

Yea the hind is definitely better. Its a flying tank and the throttle response is faster

diving is highly impractical. just think, you wouldn't dive into ruble or uneven terrain. that would expose your chest, your FACE, everything vital to the ground which could have anything on it. when prone you also don't have a lot of movement options. you can crawl, you can turn around and lay on your back, but to do anything else you have to get up which puts you at a disadvantage because it's hard to go from prone to standing while also pointing a gun somewhere.

a slide is much more practical. when you slide only your knees really have contact with the ground which you probably have pads for because sitting on your knees is common and uncomfortable without padding. being crouched gives you many more movement options. you can stand and sprint, you can stand while pointing a gun, you can prone to get lower, you can pivot way easier to look around. it just makes sense to slide.
