Started on bf3. Loved the game play. Played bf1, had fun but got frustrated. Then bf5 came out which I clicked with me during the beta.

My roots go back to bf3 but I don't want all the games to be like it.

Depends. If you play Falk, there is no reason to carry Medical things since she has a infinite ammo healing gun.

Angel there is no reason to carry an ammo box in most cases since he can drop down a loadout box that replenishes all ammo/gadgets. And can give teammates ammo

Irish is the only support where you can choose either or. I prefer ammo box.

I will say though, I prefer the longer support lifetime than the days of old. Where you get BF3, three DLCs (ranging in size and scope) and then you get BF4 maybe a year or two after
