Open your installed antivirus, antimalware, or firewall blocker and make an exclusion for Battlefield 2042.

In addition to that, turn of Control Flow guard (CFG) for Battlefield 2042 in Windows by following these steps:

Open your PC Settings,
Open Windows Security Settings,
Click on "App & Browser control",
Click on "Exploit protection settings",
Click on "Program settings",
Click on "Add program to customize",
Click on "Choose exact file path",
Navigate to where you have installed Battlefield 2042 and click on the 'BF2042.exe' file,
Click on "Open",
Scroll down to Control Flow guard (CFG),
Click on "Override system settings",
Make sure it's switched to the "Off" position,
