The fact 2042 reached 101K surpassing the all the time record DURING the MW3 beta speaks volumes about how far this game has come. As someone who is a hopeless World War 2 nerd, I was always rather surprised they never made a Eastern Front experience for BFV. Granted the Eastern Front was basically 4 years of war crimes, but none the less Stalingrad would have been a fucking amazing area to play Battlefield in (some RO2 nostalgia at play).

The storylines and worldbuilding in Battlefield games has mostly been lackluster, I would not consider it to be a viable timeline for a cinematic setting.
I mean I'm like 85-90% certain that DICE could hire a FHS Karlberg cadet and just give him a shit load of crack or marijuana and get a better story and world than their writing staff possibly could. (Sorry DICE writers, I appreciate the effort but not the results.)

I meant in combination with air vehicles. Rooftop objectives are fine, but having air vehicles in the mix would just be a no-no from me because they'd be largely useless and mostly relegated to moving people into random otherwise unaccessible rooftops (Siege of Shanghai, cough).

I was using AA rockets, but the enemies stopped using aircrafts since I always lock onto them.
