Updating BIOS is a very good thing unless you are running the latest technology and you have to keep an eye out for possible bugs
I've been an IT professional for over 25 years brother, I've troubleshooted hundreds and hundreds of computers and I can't tell you how many times I've seen performance improve and bugs get fixed just from a BIOS update. Those kinds of things include better instruction sets for your CPU, chipset and more. Also your chipset drivers for your motherboard and CPU.
But you don't have to take my word for it! Enjoy your own belief and experiences.

Forcing ppl to play random modes to try and drum up numbers for them is just weird.
