I wouldn't call it their best shot, I mean it it came out in 2019, Warzone didnt even come out until a year later. Since then, there has been plenty of Battle Royal style games come out, and people have basically settled into their perfered style of it. Maybe a good time to at least put some thought into possibly doing something. My opinion only how ever.

I think that since there are so many out that people love for various reasons. Do some RND on what it is that everyone loves about each one, and see if there is a way to incorporate that into one style Battle Royel and see where the dust settles. I mean hell if anything, see what the fans think before dumping money into a program that people are just not gonna support. I mean Im down for something different. Fortnite, same game every season, Warzone, same game twice in a row but some how managed to really screw the second one up, PubG, same game since release. PubG being the one that really stands out in terms of replayability. I still go back and play it quite a bit.

The one thing with Enders that I agree with is that there's virtually 0 gunplay mechanics other than "put your cursor over the enemy and fire, dont need to worry about recoil"

i tried hard to level every vehicle in bfv and by the time i stopped, there were still multiple planes i couldnt level because of the stupid fucking system

My problem with BFV’s specialization system was that for planes certain aircraft had specific options that were blatantly OP and the equivalent often didn’t have it

Bf1 you had to pay the upgrades with bonds you get from leveling up normally, bf2042 is just kills you can get in coop, this system requires exp from using that vehicle

I have access to a majority of the weapons and the only difference between them Ive been able to find other than models were how the attachments looked and their firerate compared to each other, and since they retain extremely similar damage models, the one with the higher firerate typically surpasses the others
