Unlocking weapons the regular way is imo. far the best. Cheesing it ruins any sense of accomplishment which is the whole point of an unlock system to begin with. + it's a great way to test all the weapons and unlocks in real games slowly as you progress.

All I'm saying is that if any manual tweaking had to happen after launch it has probably not have had as high a priority as it could have, due to MP players thinking getting killed by ANY bot means the bot is too good. And thus the bots got removed from the regular gamemodes.

jets for instance are supposed to work alongside other units to assist with taking out vehicles, which helps infantry and so on. Yet the jet mechanics are (mostly) so good that it sparked it's own separate mode dedicated just to jets and it's been very well received

well I'd say that the flight mechanics are far more forgiving than 4, but it makes aiming precisely and pulling off side to side strafes the most uncomfortable experience
