Only problems with 2042 were rushed development, and too much experimentation in too many areas at once. They’ve since done plenty to fix the problems the game had at launch. But it’s hardly the death of Battlefield 😂. They’ve created a whole new studio to work on the campaign for the next BF game

I believe games are optimized to use a certain amount of cores. Most games now can easily use 4 cores but 6 seems to be the limit. At least comparing a 6 core Ryzen to 16core you don’t get much in terms of gaming performance

Not all workloads in gaming can be Parallel. Perfect scaling across all cores is impossible. 2042 has some threads that are really sequential and thus a few very fast cores for those is the best.

The battlepass is pretty quick at first with all the weeklys but once you get a decent way through (lvl 50+) it starts getting harder leveling your player up is pretty grindy again it's fine at first but to get s0 it will take you fair amount of play time ( unless you just go xo lobbies) and to T1 operators and guns is very grindy
