It should also be noted that it does not mean the other team is equal to the above average player. They are likely above the players on the above average player's team, and are likely using meta loadouts exclusively, inflating their SBMM ranking. However, considering there is only one above average player in the lobby, that one player has to deal with a team of 6 using meta loadouts, and if they're not, they're not going to do well, that's just how it is. Sure they have 5 other players but those 5 other players are likely not doing well anyway because they're just not that good at the game.
